By far the worse delays ever flight was supposed to leave at 9:45am been delayed till 1pm with not at much as a sorry just kinda expected us to be ok with it. Definitely be the last time I EVER fly out of this airport

I cannot say how grateful and terrific this airport was, all of the staff was above and beyond! March 13th I flew here my last flying was 9 years ago after all these years my health seemed to change because I had the worst motion sickness once I landed, the staff was courteous, polite, beyond helpful and very caring, I was rushed to the ER and with the kindness of everyone at this airport it made everything so much more smoother and less worry. If you have a emergency accident they take very good care of you full and through. Terrific airport and terrific people! Also Incase staff was wondering a few days later flew again with the meds the doctor gave and made it to the Philippines! :) It has been a crazy trip, God is always with us! Such a nice airport! Very small and cozy. Due to its size - security checks don't begin until 30 minutes or so before boarding begins, and they will make an announcement on the PA when you can start lining up. Definitely do not need to get here too early, otherwise you will spend a lot of time waiting in the "lobby" area. My flight did unfortunately get delayed due to technical issues with the plane and I had to be moved to the next flight (which was in 2-3 hours). To be truthful, I didn't even mind because of the warm and friendly staff, who worked tirelessly to get everyone rebooked and/or situated. I don't think I've ever been at an airport where all of the staff were so patient, compassionate, and accommodating. Great experience.

I want to thank the entire staff at the Decatur airport. Arriving for a 3:00 flight to Chicago in a wheelchair, I can't say I was feeling too chipper. Although the flight was delayed by a mechanical issue elsewhere, everyone in this airport did their best to make me feel comfortable. I would like to give individual thanks to every crew member, from the sympathetic but professional TSA screening, to the wonderful manager handling flight information Most of all, a special blessing for the unfortunate guy who had to push this 230 pound man strapped into an "aisle chair" up an icy 30-degree ramp. Unbelievable group!

Decatur Airport is a fantastic little airport that always provides a smooth and hassle-free experience ✈️✨ The staff is super friendly and welcoming 😊, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in 🏢 The facility is well-maintained and spotless 🧼, which is always a plus 👍 One of the best things about this airport is how safe and easy everything is ✅ Parking is completely free 🚗💨, and if you need to leave your car for an extended period, it is no issue at all ⏳ Just stop by the administration office 🏢 and leave your contact info 📞 in case they need to reach you. It is a small but well-run airport that makes traveling stress-free ✈️💼 Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
