LOVE this zoo! So many fascinating species, in large, natural habitats. Animals look happy and healthy in their spaces. Keepers are knowledgeable and passionate about their animals. Facility was large, but easy to navigate. I attended many of the keeper presentations and enjoyed the experience, good for many ages. -love a fellow zookeeper❤️

I had a really good experience at the zoo. The place is well maintained, clean, and has plenty of space to walk around and enjoy at a relaxed pace. The animals looked well cared for, and there was a good variety to see—from exotic species to some more local ones. The facilities are clearly marked, making it easy to explore without getting lost. I also liked that there were green areas to rest, food stands, and activities for kids. It’s an ideal spot to spend the day with family, a partner, or even alone if you enjoy nature and animals. I definitely recommend visiting. It’s worth it.

Our family has year round membership to the Dallas zoo. We go at least twice a month. Membership is so worth it. My son loves the dinosaur exhibit, which is also included in our membership. We have to see the dinosaur exhibit every time with visit the zoo, per our son's request! The new butterfly exhibit is great as well. The winter holiday lights at the zoo is coming soon. We hope the zoo will continue to have the interactive dinosaur shows with videos lights and sounds again. My son wanted to go every night last year just for that alone!

This was our first time visiting the zoo. We had a great time, and we’re surprised by how nice the zoo was. I really enjoyed the birds, lion, elephant and butterfly exhibit. I felt like you were able to get closer to animals then usual.

My visit to Dallas Zoo was a delight from start to finish. The admission prices are refreshingly reasonable, and parking was easy, plentiful, and hassle-free. The layout of the zoo is superb. You can flow from exhibit to exhibit naturally, making the entire experience feel effortless and enjoyable. We saw a fantastic variety of animals, from the majestic giraffes to playful otters and charming penguins, and every exhibit felt thoughtful and well curated. The staff sprinkled educational moments throughout the visit, and their passion, knowledge, and engagement elevated the experience for adults and kids alike. In total, our group spent about three hours walking through the entire zoo. That felt just right; long enough to see everything, but not so long that it became tiring. The food and drink options were solid (and well-priced), offering a good range of choices to recharge mid-visit. This zoo is absolutely family friendly, but it’s also a wonderful choice for a relaxing day out with friends. Whether you’re looking to combine fun, education, and a little nature escape, Dallas Zoo delivers. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Dallas!
