Kristin and Lizzie at D.A. Luxury Travel make dreams come true! They planned and executed a magnificent itinerary for our "Trip of a Lifetime" to New Zealand and Australia. They took care of every detail and our six week adventure wildly exceeded ALL our expectations. I cannot recommend them enough. Their attention to detail is astounding; from hotel and airport transfers to luxury accommodation to 5 star restaurants and experiences, not to mention their timely responsiveness, even from the other side of the world. D.A. Luxury Travel is the best there is. We're already planning our next trip and we wouldn't dream of using anyone else.

I couldn’t recommend DA Luxury Travel any more! A friend and I planned a couple’s only trip to Aruba in March of 2019 and because of Kristin’s and Alicia’s hard work, everything was beyond perfect.Upon arrival at the Ritz, we were greeted as VIPs—champagne and all—and we were immediately upgraded to beachfront rooms. Alicia and Kristin even found us a Jeep Wrangler to rent, when there supposedly weren’t any available on the island left. We will definitely be using them for all of our future trips!

Review Update: September 5th: I am updating my original review from August 15th. I initially posted it after not receiving a response from the company for over a week following my first attempt to seek a resolution and partial refund. The company has since reached out, and we have had several communications. While the owner did attempt to clarify the pricing, I still believe there was a lack of full transparency regarding the significant cost differences we discovered. The company acknowledged a partial refund for our Eiffel Tower tickets, and I can confirm we received it today. While I won't detail my other post-trip concerns regarding how they handled our issues, I am leaving our dealings with D A Travel with disappointment. I hope this feedback helps the company address future problems with clearer, more straightforward, and honest resolutions. Original Post: My family and I used D.A. Luxury Travel for our recent 3 day Paris trip. The planning and suggestions, especially the hotel in Chantilly, were great. However, we discovered a few issues after our return. Activities like the Seine River cruise and transports were marked up over 140% from the direct price. We also paid for Eiffel Tower summit access but only got to the second floor. To address these concerns and inquire about a partial refund, I sent a detailed email on August 9th (7 days ago) to the owner. To date, I have not received a response. The lack of transparency about pricing and the lack of communication after our trip is a bit of a disappointment. Had I known, I would not have used this agency. I'm sharing my experience to inform other travelers as all the reviews I read on here and Travel and Leisure looked very positive. I hope I'm alone on our experience.

I worked with Kristin and her team to plan my dream honeymoon to South Africa this past Feb/March. Kristin was responsive when I reached out and did a great job of outlining what a trip might include. I didn't have anything in mind when I reached out beyond location, and so I appreciated her help and guidance in outlining activities and itinerary. From there, Kristin and her team took care of everything - she booked hotels, experiences, drivers, flights, etc and provided helpful guidelines for aligning our trip with flights to/from, tipping guidelines, customs, travel information to be aware of, etc. Not knowing exactly what to expect from the region it was incredibly helpful to have everything taken care of - including a digital itinerary that walked us through every step of the way. Every hotel we stayed at was gorgeous, all of our drivers were professional and hospitable, and all of our activities were well executed and highly reputable. Going on safari was truly the highlight - the lodge we stayed at was deeply luxurious and we got to experience a range of wildlife with highly skilled drivers. None of this would have been possible without Kristin's close attention to detail, deep knowledge of the area, and close relationships with local touring companies/hospitality groups. I would not hesitate to go back to Kristin for our next big adventure.
