This trip was my second and last trip with Custom Holidays. I signed up for a trip months ago, made the payments and was excited to go with myself and two other couples, unfortunately a fall, ICU for a couple of days ended my hope of going. My friends and I tried to find someone to take my place with no luck, my friends continued the experience without me. Upon return my friends informed me that my room was sold to someone else and I should call for a refund. They knew this because when room keys were issued, and MY name was called, and a woman came forward and accepted the room in my name. My friends were even so bold as to ask the woman if she had paid for the room and her answer was yes. When I called Custom Holidays to ask about it, I was informed no one took my place. Who gave the key in my name, who accepted the key in my name? I was also informed I would receive no refund, partial refund, or credit for future trips, even though likely they sold the same room to two different people, accepting payment twice. The other two couples I was going to travel with had other issues during this trip with Custom Holidays that I do not feel it is my place to share, but none of us will be using this travel group again.

In general the ability to have one cost for tickets, transportation and food is nice. Although trips are not always on time when returning from the show; over the past few months the quality/timing of the trip arrangements has decreased. It is extremely disappointing that even with the death of a spouse (occurred a few days prior to a scheduled event) that the company was not willing to give a refund or move the money to a different show. The only option for refund is if the purchaser found someone to buy their ticket and then the money would be moved to a different trip; no option for full refund.

I have been on many day trips and a week long trip with them. This is my go to company when looking for something fun. Do not be afraid to be a single traveler. The owners and tour guides treat you like family and you will make friends quickly.

Went on a day trip to a lavender festival. I had a nice enjoyable ride on a charter bus. The trip was well organized. The host was super friendly. I also like the fact your lunch was included with the price of your trip. One last thing that is very nice is that they have trips on Saturdays for the people that have to work during the week. Overall I would highly recommend checking out their website because they have lots of great day trips and overnight trips to choose from.

Custom Holidays is great for group travel. They have easy to get to pick up locations and I like their tour managers. I also like that they always offer a great meal during their one day trips.
