I had to choose an airport, but I would like to review the airline in general. The problem they have is the in-flight service. The food is horrible; they don’t serve alcoholic beverages in economy (they used to do that); they do not provide a blanket for international flights if you travel economy. People choose them because they offer a lot of flights to Latin America and in some cases there aren’t other airlines going to those places.

I bought a one way ticket to Peru, I was going on a retreat, I came down with COVID, I had to cancel my flight and my trip, I did not know of the 24 hour cancel policy, but it wouldn’t matter because I got back the test after the 24 hour policy would’ve been done, so I called and explained them that I have Covid and I unable to get on this flight. I asked them if they had another flight in the week I was thinking if I was better, I would still go on my trip, he told me I would have to pay $220 which was the same price as I already paid for the original ticket, so I asked to cancel the flight. I asked him if I could get my money back and they said no I did not cancel within 24 hours prior again. I explained to them that I didn’t know that rule and I didn’t find out my test results until now. They said I’m sorry I’ve been there before there’s nothing I could do. This is completely unacceptable. Do they really want me on their flight with Covid because I can get on there and breathe on everybody. They said the only thing they could do is leave my ticket open and if I want a new ticket within the year, I could get one, but I don’t foresee it being any cheaper just because I already had a ticket so basically I lost all my money and there was nothing they could do for me. And I’ve never flown their airline do ai really wanna fly them now. What are the chances of needing another flight within the year to where they fly to. So frustrated….

I would never leave such bad review if I did not experienced what other people have stated. Personally the lady at the counter "Nicole" had the worst attitude anyone can encounter. On March 26th, 2022 I had a trip schedule by my job and we were told that COPA was on Terminal 1 and not 4 as it was supposed to be. I spend almost 20 minutes in the other terminal until I arrived to the right one. Then "Nicole" told me that she will issue me a new ticket (no one else but her at the booth) and gave her my passport and credential that will alloud me to go through security faster but she insisted that she needed to show my credential to her manager and up to date she haven't return it. She kept me waiting "One Hour and Half" for her manager to show up and tell me that she will issue me a new ticket (but since I have paid for my luggage on the 26th and my flight was on the 27th they made me pay once again) since they clain is another day. Considering the current situation of airlines this is totally unaceptable and main reason why they have lost a lot of their customers. On my return "My Monitor 27" Inches" was damaged and COPA stated that they are not liable for the loss. Once again the worst type of service. When something similar took place in JET BLUE they just asked for my credentials and I received the right compensation. Learn from your competitors to generate the right ROI. Remember that your clients are the ones that feed your personnel. I would never nor my company book another trip with this airline.

They charged me 150 dollars because my package was 3 centimeter (0,4 inches) bigger than the regular size. Ok, they can do it, but I've traveled with this same package over other companys and any one over charged me. I will never travel with copa anymore

Flew from Fort Lauderdale to Panama. We left 3 hours early as the flight said it was on time. We get here and the flight is over 3 hours delayed with no notification. This completely screwed up all reservations. There was zero communication from the airline. We are now trying to wait in line to see if we can get refunded for the flight which we have already been in line for an hour. This is the second worst airline behind Air Asia.
