I had five days, two tween daughters, an overworked Executive Chef husband, zero time, and even less mental bandwidth to plan a family trip. I knew we needed to stay in the same time zone and I knew I wanted something special, but I didn’t know where and could not pull it off solo. A trusted friend recommended CIRE Travel, and I’m so glad I followed their lead. My friend has great taste😊 Melissa was our travel magician. She set up an initial call where she asked the most thoughtful questions to get to know me and my family a bit better as well as learn about our wish list for our upcoming trip to who-knows-where?! I told her I wanted a mix of adventure and downtime, something luxurious but not cheesy (dear lord please no buffets or neon bracelets), with great food, authentically good customer service, and a little education and exploration for the kids. My husband and I both work in luxury hospitality and have limited time off so we were craving something truly special where we could spoil ourselves. Melissa delivered. She truly NAILED IT. Melissa suggested Grenada which I had not considered. She seemed to know what’s up so I figured, what the hell, let’s go with it, she seems to know her stuff. She booked us at Spice Island Beach Resort in Grenada. SIBR is a remarkably special family-owned, all-inclusive property that is simply breathtaking. The staff knew our girls’ names and treated them like real people. The food was magnificent. The attention to detail at this property is unmatched. Every single excursion was planned and effortless. A catamaran ride with snorkeling and a stop for a grilled lobster lunch on a private beach, beach horseback riding, a rainforest hike with a local guide who was so kind and knowledgeable… Melissa handled it all. She even organized all our flights and transfers, so the moment we got off the plane we were taken care of. Same on the way home. Zero stress. Our itinerary and trip details were loaded onto an app so everything I needed was consolidated to one place so I didn’t have to save/dig through my inbox. My company recently used CIRE for an all-team retreat to Dominican Republic. TLDR version: we felt safe with CIRE’s recommendation, we felt supported, we felt like they listened to our needs, and I don’t know how I would have managed the logistics of this trip without them. Transparently, we had a limited budget and we have pretty needy/picky travelers. The team at CIRE was amazing - from all of our flight coordinations, which included multiple cancellations and booking revisions, to our ground transports in an unfamiliar country, to ensuring we had all of the appropriate contacts onsite in DR for a smooth retreat and everything was moving along in a timely fashion with all the planning and coordination. My abundant questions, requests, emails, etc never went unanswered, and I nearly always had responses and actions either the same day or the next day. 10/10, highly recommend and we intend to use CIRE again in the future.

I had not worked with a company like CIRE before, which customizes your travel to fit exactly what you want to do, hope to do, when, how and how many of you. My husband and I and two friends, all of us experienced travelers, wanted to visit Greece, where we had not been before, for two weeks in April. We knew what we wanted to see (ancient monuments) but these were scattered on different islands and we had no idea the best way to get to each one, get to the sight, have a hotel, a guide, etc. CIRE's representative for us, Esther, worked closely with me (the main planner) to figure out what and how and also made suggestions about places we did not know about, ways to get to particular destinations (ferry, car, plane), options for hotels that would suit us and transportation to and from. We were amazed to find that all vans and drivers were on time, pleasant and knowledgeable, each guide was well informed not only about the sights but also the history and role in Greece, each hotel was up to expectations, and we managed to get to almost all the places we wanted to go in a short time. Finally, on the two occasions when there was a glitch (not fault of CIRE) - ferry 4 hours late, day sail canceled b/c of weather, the local representatives for CIRE were in contact with us, helping to manage luggage and alternate plans.
