Orange line from downtown loop is very convenient. With a short walk to the gates. Well organized and good signage with an extremely efficient TSA-Pre security even after more than a month of the Fedral Govt shutdown and not being paid. SW airline and Air Traffic Controlers did a great job. In ensuring smooth, safe and on time flight arrivals and departure.

I’ve flown out of Midway many times over the last few years. I love it! Drop off and pick up are always a breeze. Retrieving luggage from the carousel is also quick and easy. TSA lines are efficient swift. Restrooms are a bit dated and limited in terms of quantity, however that is my only negative. Midway is definitely a less stressful option compared to O’hare of course.

Today I arrived at concourse B. Signage was very good and readable. The aisle were wide enough for walking and accessibility. I found several shops like Johnston and Murphy, MAC, and Jo Malone as well as several eateries. The local flavor of White Sox eatery and Reilly's Daughter gave a Chicago feel. The central area between concourses B and C offered several Dining options and of course I found Nuts On Clark kiosk with 3 types of popcorn. Accessible mens and women's restrooms most are hands free. Most stalls even if not dedicated accessible have 2 grab bars diaper changers. Free WiFi that take a few minutes to access. Most shops and eateries are accessible with open entry, accessible self order and pick up counters. Several bar height seating areas with accessible tables. No background music in airport and just traveler noise The art work walking out of airport and to parking or public transport pays tribute the city's Soevisl Olympics, Gage park area and several personal glimpses of military service people, with a look at all races and genders

Always enjoy flying in and out of MDW. Can get crowded at times but definitely very manageable. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Definitely recommend.

It’s an option to O’Hare with some “smaller vibe” benefits. Fairly crowded but lots of places to eat and drink. I thought the food at Home Run pizza was fair but prices there and everywhere were very high, even for an airport. $17 for a hot dog? Really? VictorB

Solid airport. It’s clean and they have a variety of food options, seated and to go. A lot of places were still open when I landed around 9. The signage was…a lot. I’m doing 4 stars instead of 5 because I was confused getting to the subway. I’ve been to and lived in a lot of cities so I’m somewhat competent with public transport. However, I was here. I followed signs for ground transportation, there weren’t clear signs for the orange line until the elevator. After you get off the elevator, you have a ~5 minute walk in a very eerie hallway that smells like cigarette smoke. It felt wrong but there was nowhere else to go. I ended up at the subway station and used mobile tap to pay to get on the orange line. The train left a little late which was fine.

I have had good experiences at Chicago Midway International Airport. It is a clean and well organized airport with decent food and shopping options. There are quite a few "Nuts on Clark" shops where you can get cheddar and caramel popcorn which is a nice Chicago touch.
