I have flown a lot (37 countries) This was my first flight with Cathay Pacific. I flew from San Francisco to Hong Kong (15 hour flight) and HGK to Ho Chi Minh City (2 hours) The long flight only had two meals and soup, which was... ok But I have been on other airlines that do so much more for you: better food, free alcohol, more snacks. The food was mid to low grade. I know I am in coach, but I have flown with other airlines (Condor from Greece to LA and it was FANTASTIC) So I just wanted to share. Pros: Boarding was swift We arrived and took off on time. Nice staff Complaints: food taste, quality and quantity lack of snacks seats seemed smaller only a USB for charging

This airline is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of flying with. The legroom is much better than most airlines. The food is better than most and because I have a family emergency they gave me a free upgrade to business class. I'll never use another airline other than Cathay Pacific when I fly to Asia.

if YOU have another option. PLEASE DO NOT USE CATHAY AIRLINE. WHICH IS DISHONEST AIRLINE. We booked ticket from St. Louis to Chengdu China. I did not know when the Cathay canceled my first trip tickets. BUT WITHOUT ANY NOTICE, NO RETURN MONEY, then I found out today I will fly today afternoon 5pm. I make call. Get answer: duo to technical problem. We need charger extra $420. For re-book and keep you tripe. I donโt have any choice. This is the connecting ticket. Miss the first fly! I think that Cathay doing this on purpose. PLEASE STAY AWAY

Flight notifications were delayed...from check in to gate change. The flight/cabin was very nice. First time using Cathay and was highly disappointed at the miscommunication for selection of food. To fly 30+ hours with no options for vegetarians...is insane! On the bright side, my seat mates got extra meat! On top of the fact I wore a cap and was continually called Sir by the crew! Very disheartening...not sure if I would choose them again.
