Wow, just wow! This was a beautiful & testimony building tour. It was well laid out & I love how we got to see the events in order. Scott was an incredible guide. He is a wealth of knowledge with a passion to teach & help his participants gain an understanding of and love for church history. The cherry on top was his quick wit and unmatched humor! He had the bus laughing constantly while simultaneously bringing the Spirit. 10/10 experience!

What an amazing trip! Scott was so knowledgeable and didn’t shy away from any questions- even really hard ones. I’m not sure how a tour bus of 46 people can become friends, but we were all connected and didn’t want it to end. The whisper device gave me some trouble , but thank you for a wonderful, uplifting experience.

My daughter recommended this tour because of Anthony Sweat, her favorite institute teacher at BYU, so I signed us all up - my married kids all the way down to my 10 year old girls. Every single one of them loved it! You could ask Anthony ANY question and he explained whatever we asked like a seasoned pro. Between his research and perspective, the missionaries sharing their message on site, the church videos shown at the visitor centers, and studying Come Follow Me and the D&C ourselves, our knowledge of church history and testimonies of the restored church grew so much! The new tour bus was super nice, so travel time was cozy. It was fun going with and getting to know a group of 50 that we didn't know before. The food at the Omish restaurant was THE BEST! The catered food at the hotels could have been better, but it was sure nice to have everything taken care of. Highly recommended and so grateful we were able to walk the steps of history.

Journeys of Paul Cruise. The trip was well organized. Excursions all had tour guides that were good to excellent. Dave Hadlack's lectures were very good. We had a great group of 18. My son and I gained memories that will last a lifetime.

Spirit-Filled Journey Through Church History with Casey Griffith This tour wasn’t just a trip—it was a powerful spiritual experience that I’ll never forget. Over nine days, we visited some of the most sacred and historic places in the early history of the Church, and having Casey Griffith as our guide made all the difference. He wasn’t just knowledgeable—he taught with a calm, steady spirit that brought each site to life in a way that was meaningful and uplifting. You could tell he truly loved the gospel, and his testimony came through in everything he shared. From the peaceful walk through the Sacred Grove to standing in Carthage Jail, there were moments that were very spiritual. One of the most impactful days for me was visiting Harmony and the Susquehanna River, where the Priesthood was restored—it was humbling to be in such a sacred spot. I also really appreciated our time in Kirtland, especially the visit to the temple and the School of the Prophets. Everywhere we went, Casey helped us connect what happened there to the bigger picture of the Restoration and to our own lives today. The itinerary was full—we were constantly on the move with flights, buses, and hotel check-ins—but everything ran smoothly. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into planning every detail. One of the fun highlights was stopping at Niagara Falls, and the Nauvoo and British pageants were both incredible to witness in person. By the end, we were definitely tired—but it was the best kind of tired. I came home spiritually recharged and with a deeper love for the early Saints and the Restoration. If you’re even thinking about doing a church history tour, I’d absolutely recommend it—and if you’re lucky enough to go with Casey Griffith, you’re in for something truly special.
