When we needed to change our first-day plans at the last minute, JoAnn quickly secured tickets to a harbor cruise at cost, turning an unexpected shift into a bonus experience for our students. In an amazing coincidence, a scheduling mix-up with Jazz at Lincoln Center turned into one of the most magical moments of the trip. While they had to rescind their invitation for us to observe their rehearsal due to a location change, we discovered that both our group and theirs were rehearsing at Boulevard Carroll Studios, just in different rooms. This twist of fate led to an unforgettable encounter: Wynton Marsalis visited our rehearsal, signed instruments, music, trumpet mutes, and more. He spoke to our students about the power of ensemble, encouraging them to give 1,000% to everything they do. That moment, in the heart of a city of 8 million people, was pure New York magic. Highlights continued with stunning performances of Hamilton and Hadestown, and an inspiring Broadway Imagined workshop with Will Curry. Throughout the trip, we felt supported, valued, and cared for. We can’t wait to work with Bob Rogers Travel again.

I have traveled with Bob Rogers a number of times and every trip is an amazing experience from beginning to end. The coordinating staff is knowledgable, friendly, helpful, and diligent. We had a fantastic trip to New York City with the help of Bob Rogers Travel. Our coordinators, Todd and Judy, made the set up and execution of trip a breeze. They guided us from the beginning and answered every question we asked. It was our first time taking this trip so I was nervous about making it happen. They helped me feel at ease throughout.

We took a music department school trip to Chicago in May. We decided we did not want to perform so we made it an exploration of the arts in Chicago trip and visited the Art Institute of Chicago, watched Mamma Mia! at the Nederlander Theater, enjoyed a performance from the Chicago Symphony, and took an architecture boat tour on the Chicago River, along with seeing the other touristy attractions Chicago has to offer. The trip was super easy to get set up and Mike was super helpful in making the changes we wanted to the normal itinerary. I never had to deal with keeping track of payments as it was all done online for the families. Any questions or concerns I had were answered immediately. The trip turned out wonderful and the kids had an amazing time! I can’t wait to schedule our next adventure with Bob Rogers Travel.
