Better Business Bureau is a sham organization. If a business is a BBB paying member, they'll always have an A+ rating no matter how bad of a business they are and no matter how many complaints and bad reviews they receive. But if they're not a member, they'll easily receive an "F" rating by BBB after just a few complaints. Look up STT Logistics (a company that constantly harasses me) and the complaints they've got! BBB used to protect consumers, but now only seem to protect bad companies. Pretty bad when a business can buy their A+ rating!

Shady and outdated business concept. I can't believe I was talked into signing up with these guys, then required to stay in my agreement until I cancelled. Once I was signed up it was nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone after the fact for assistance. EXCEPT, for when they reach out to try and upsell you or get you to renew something that shows absolutely zero return, along with taking more time from my schedule over anything, when needing help on multiple occasions and just giving up. I'm glad my renewal is up, but here we are, I received a "congratulations on my renewal" email this morning. I had to call and now I'm waiting on a 'supervisors approval" to cancel my account. I almost considered just staying so I could have the sticker, but after reading all the other similar complaints everyone else is having, this group can kick rocks. There are so many other marketing avenues or even the simple use of Google reviews. Don't get locked in.. I bumped back to a three star. Rhonda made some efforts to try and resolve my concerns. At least that's some additional effort from their group. However it still doesnt make up for the numerous times I found myself frustrated trying to figure out how to get a hold of someone or get a reply when I needed it.

Brandan & Davy came out to my house and showed me the Dabella ridge vent ventilation system that will fix my hot attic issues. I love that Dabella is family owned and uses American made products.

When I first started the process of my car purchase it was great and the sales person (Jeff) was very determined to get me to sign the paperwork. After signing my contract his attitude completely changed and his responsiveness was close to nothing. I heard almost nothing for days about when I would get my car, and general questions. When I finally got the car he promised me it would pass smog with flying colors and there wouldn’t be any issues with this but he lied and the car instantly failed smog. (CA)That was my one red flag I should’ve noticed. I said okay that’s fine I’ll be moving to NV so I’ll just register it there and he told me I could register it there with absolutely no issues, he lied about that and now I am stuck with a car that can’t be registered without putting about 1,000 into it for work. This was my dream car that I always wanted but they’ve made it a nightmare for me due to their miscommunications and false promises. I would steer far away from this company and it’s not a mystery why they aren’t accredited on the BBB website having multiple complaints.

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) presents itself as an organization committed to protecting consumers, but in reality, it operates more like a membership-driven business. Their priority seems to be signing up companies willing to pay for accreditation, and once you're on board, they tend to side with you. However, if you're not accredited, you're often left at a disadvantage, as they appear quick to side with anyone filing a complaint—no matter how petty or unfounded. Rather than conducting thorough investigations or seeking to understand the full story, the BBB sends out threatening letters and emails to business owners who are already stretched thin, trying to meet the demands of customers. Instead of acting as an impartial body, they lean towards favoring those who file complaints, regardless of their validity. The BBB often plays the role of an overbearing mediator, stepping in without offering real value or support to legitimate businesses. Their focus is more on maintaining the image of protecting consumers, while in reality, they are driven by the fees they collect from businesses, leaving non-accredited companies vulnerable to unfair treatment. This puts unnecessary pressure on business owners who are already working hard to please their customers and run an honest operation. No wonder why their reviews are garbage, reflecting the growing dissatisfaction from business owners and consumers alike who see through their biased practices. It's frustrating to handle complaints like this! Replacing a failed battery is a simple and necessary repair, but no reasonable person would think it could fix unrelated issues like the A/C system, electrical door locks, or other mechanical problems the customer is experiencing. These are entirely separate systems, and it's surprising when customers don't understand the distinction. It seems like they're lumping all their issues together, expecting a single repair to solve everything. Unfortunately, these misunderstandings often lead to baseless complaints against your business, despite the work being done correctly.
