This is a well-maintained and towered airport. It has several large hangers that appear to be in good shape. The runway and grounds are all in very good condition. There are several flight schools on the airport’s property. The location is very convenient as well.

I get my Learjet 85 detailed here on the weekends. One time prior to landing I watched Top Gun. I buzzed the tower and watched the air traffic controller spill his coffee. Later when the FAA threatened to take my plane I brought up the movie. They understood and all charges were dropped.

Aurora Municipal Airport looks like a very good airport to me I was just there delivering some equipment and material for a company I work for that they were working at a parking lot we do good work

Nice airport I do infact love some small airports if you wanna call this one small. Has a aviation museum down the street too. I suggest adding a better viewing point for plane spotters. I
