Amy at American Airlines counter was the most helpful airline staff person that I have ever encountered in 60 years of flying. My departure was delayed so she prepared me with another solution including a hotel voucher and number to call for a ride to get to the hotel. Initially, I had one minute to walk from the Charlotte gate E11 to the B11 gate. I was fortunate that my connecting flight was delayed so by running as best I could, I made the earlier flight.π

Our flight to Philly was canceled due to weather, but we were able to book another flight pretty quickly. So Cheers to American Airlines

Our flight was cancelled due to an issue with the aircraft's tire. The American Airlines staff at the gate and ticket counter were all so helpful. They had to scramble to try to get all the passengers sorted out with backup flights and plans. They did so professionally and cheerfully, even though some passengers were a bit stressed out. Meredith at the gate, and David at the ticket counter in particular really helped us out. American put us up at a local hotel for the night and the next day we were on our way. It's easy to do well when things are going well. These people did well under stressful circumstances.

Rude. Rude employees. Lazy flight attendants. Mechanical issues. Terrible customer service. Avoid this airline. Stuck over night in philly and was lied to before we left Maine about making the connection. Express frustration and customer service refused to help. They cause the problem and refuse to fix it.

Just used American Airlines for the first time to ship our puppy. The dog looked extremely well cared for and the staff at Manchester were very nice and caring. Wouldn't hesitate again to use their pet program.
