    Convenience is about it. Easiest way to get to Las Vegas. I like that it’s near me, easy to get to, easy to park and semi easy TSA. But that’s about it. Their business practices are shady and such a hassle for normal traveling people. MAKE SURE YOU PRINT YOUR BOARDING PASS!!! Their stupid app was not loading mine and 9 other travelers and there was no one there to help us out because they close 45 mins before departure. THEY DO NOT BOARD YOU AND TSA THERE IS NO HELP. Also get there early as TSA has gotten ridiculously longer than it used to be. Good luck.

    I traveled from Stockton CA to Denver CO on Allegiant Airlines. My brother who is a Veteran went with me. Allegiant offers free check-in bags for Veterans. So we each had different check in rules. We were not sure how things worked so l asked for help at the counter. The employee, Sean (Shawn, not sure of spelling), who assisted us was very helpful. She took time to explain the process and miscellaneous questions, with patience. I went back to her a few times. Before I was done I was telling my brother, "Let me ask my Friend!" I asked if Allegiant had a way to leave comments regarding employees. I was told they didn't, but I could leave a google review. So here I am. You see my brother is 79 and I'm 70. At our age it’s not often you are assisted with patience. Sean is a great example of customer service! Allegiant, I hope you read this and acknowledge an excellent employee. Hopefully, you can create a way customers can submit comments regarding employees, and post on a wall at Stockton Airport for all to see. If you need ideas I can assist. Also, the flight to and from Denver was on time and pleasant. Sincerely, Returning Customer

    Wow, there's really no love for this airline I see with the low ratings, like 1.5 stars low, eeks! Thankfully, our experience has been OK. Literally OK. So during the pandemic, we starting flying this airline from SCK to PHX and the flights were not that full, and even when they were fuller, they were on-time and the flights smooth and uneventful. The prices are as low as you can get to fly with a shuttle plane airline. However, they do cost more if you want them to be refundable, but that's true with all airlines. There's a discount of $10 for each roundtrip ticket, so take advantage of that. The flights are quite no non-sense w/no frills, no meals, no beverages/snacks. You can purchase drinks and snacks at exorbitant prices, but yours truly has never done that and have no plans to do so either. We BYO snacks and water bottles. In any case, the flights are usually quite full b/c they try to pack them in and it's a popular route and lots of people go between AZ and CA to see family/friends, vacation, do business, etc. We like that the planes are Airbus and not Boeing planes, after all the scary news about the latter, so that's some level of peace of mind there, but lately, there's been some issues b/c our last flight to PHX was delayed quite a bit and when we were finally able to board, there were these huge aeronautical/space tape that resembled shiny duct tape on the outside of the left side of the plane. I kid you not, I prayed extra hard that flight, and thankfully it was uneventful and even quite and smooth at take off and landing w/not too much turbulence, but you betcha I was praying hard that we'd be safe after seeing that "space duct tape" bandaging the plane's body, eeks! The flight back was something else, we weren't delayed flying from PHX back to SCK, but when we got back, we were stuck on the tarmac for over an hour, it was b/c the power was out at the SCK airport, so that the pilot couldn't let us off for some reason. He tried to let us out the RIGHT side of the plane which is unusual as planes usually deplane passengers on the left side, but he tried that to help things go faster and it didn't work b/c the ramp walkway couldn't go that way, and so we had to wait and wait and wait some more, it got kind of stuffy and warm in the plane, but he did keep the air on, he couldn't turn off all the engines or he'd not be able to get it back on or something like that so eventually the power came back to the airport building to add power to the plane or so, and he was able to let us deplane off the left side, and we got into the airport building just to find out they did NOT get our baggage out of the plane while we were on there waiting, so we had to wait another 40 minutes or so. In all, we were supposed to land just after 9 pm (and we did) in SCK, but the wait ON the plane and then IN the building for our luggage took another 2+hours so that we didn't even get out of the airport and on the road till after 11pm. We were not happy campers. Not completely Allegiant's fault, but I've learned that people really do experience a lot of delays w/this airline and we've just been blessed to have avoided most delays so far. Flight attendants and pilots are generally very friendly, helpful, and with a good sense of humor, but remember, they have to fly back and forth multiple flights a day so they're probably tired out by the end of the day too, so show them some grace, please, and remember, they're a discount airline, so keep your expectations balanced.

    It is what it is. Dirt cheap fares (compared to other carriers), but they will nickel and dime you to death if you let them, so don't LOL. Print your boarding pass before you get to the airport, only bring a carryon bag that will fit under the seat (such as a *small* backpack), don't pay for any "upgrades", and you'll be fine. Plane itself was clean. Delayed departures going both directions (pretty much unexplained by the crew). But landed safely.

    ALWAYS delayed over an hour or more, usually around 3 to 4!!! DONT PLAN IF YOU TAKE THIS FLIGHT, EXPECT TO WASTE YOUR ENTIRE DAY. They will not offer even WATER for waiting 3 hours. They will just stand there.
