Alaska Airlines totally ruined our 15-year anniversary trip to Hawaii. They wouldn't release our flight to Hawaiian Airlines, and we were held hostage in the airport, missing our flight, and lost out on our resort STAY and car rental. After 6 hours STANDING AT THE HAWAIIAN COUNTER AND on the phone with both operational managers, WITH BOTH AIRLINES, we were told our only option was to purchase AGAIN MORE TICKETS!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. 15 people in line unable to check in because we can’t drop our bags because there is no agent at the counter. Every other airline has multiple agents. Alaska must have needed a break. Been standing here all checked in on line and unable to drop a bag for over an hour. Absolutely ridiculous. Thanks Alaska!

Not open at all hours throughout the day. Can print bag tags four hours prior but the agents aren't there until one or two hours before departure. There's nowhere to drop off tagged baggage or any lockers so you have to wait outside security until then. No help from support when called or text other than waiting. Partner airlines (oneworld) couldn't help either. Would have been nice to be told this during check-in rather than finding out once at the airport.

Terrible. Been waiting for half an hour already. Apparently they only have certain hours that someone is at the counter. There's already a line and no one at the counter. Can't even drop bags off! Ridiculous.

Why would your ticket counter not open until 1 hour before my flight boards?! Got to the airport two hours early only to have to sit outside for an hour waiting for the ticket counter to open to check my bag. Not a good experience for somebody to likes to get through security earlier and hasn’t had breakfast or coffee..
