We got our flight from Seattle to Tokyo first delayed then completely cancelled, the weather is good and we were told the flight was cancelled due to some maintenance issue and it was for our safety reason. Thank you to save our lives and completely screw up our Japan trip! The new flight is one day and two hours later, which means all the trip booking in Japan for the first day is totally screwed and wasted. The airline reimbursed us with $40 food vouchers 20 per person, that is barely enough to cover our local commute cost in Seattle! We had waited for almost 2 hours in Air Canada's customer service counter trying to see if we could get better travel arrangements, there were 5 employees there but none of them were "trained to handled rebooking", the supervisor who knows how to handle rebooking was supposed to come to work 10:30, but she showed up one hour later and still couldn't change anything. Air Canada could consider changing it's slogan to "we can't do nothing right and we treat our customers like trash". Will never use the trash airline again in my life!

Flying to Dubai from Air Canada - have two stops. Last time did not have good experience. Air Canada usually offers a generally pleasant flying experience with comfortable seating and attentive service. I like their in-flight entertainment system which is robust, features a wide selection of movies and TV shows. However, delays and baggage handling issues are occasional drawbacks. No idea why the clerk is tending one customer for past half an hour .

Hard for me to express how consistently infuriating my experiences are with Air Canada at SeaTac. Just now, after waiting 30 minutes for my checked bag at the indicated baggage claim carousel, I found my bag at an adjacent carousel with zero announcement or indication otherwise. A week earlier, a gate agent gave me grief about a carry-on musical instrument that he claimed wouldn’t fit in the overhead bin on a CRJ900, inducing hours of stress and anxiety about being denied boarding (the instrument fit easily, as it always had). Previous experiences include insanely backed up lines at baggage check, rude agents, and general dysfunction. Alaska and Delta have consistently been more pleasant. Please do better, Air Canada.

The desk was so helpful and patient when rebooking us during this stressful time with all AC flights being cancelled. Also passed out snacks. Thank you!!

Flight attendants, for the most part, were really nice as well as the pilots. No free snacks sadly but you need to get drinks

I recently flew with Air Canada and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, primarily due to issues with baggage handling and customer service. Upon arrival at my destination, I was made aware that my baggage had not made it onto the flight. It was later found that my luggage had been mistakenly left at Vancouver airport. This error on the part of Air Canada created a significant inconvenience, as I was left without my belongings, including essentials. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I engaged in numerous lengthy calls with Air Canada's customer service. However, the assistance provided was both inadequate and frustrating. The repeated response was, "We cannot get in touch with the staff at Seattle airport; they are not picking calls, so I cannot help you." This lack of proactive problem-solving and the inability to contact the necessary staff at Seattle airport reflects poorly on Air Canada's commitment to customer service. What compounded the issue was the apparent lack of accountability from Air Canada. At no point did I receive a satisfactory explanation or a proactive solution to retrieve my luggage. Heck, not even, "We are sorry for you inconvenience". The situation is still unresolved, leaving me in a difficult position without my luggage. Please avoid flying from Air Canada, Seattle.

Air Canada cancelled our flight and reschedule it 26 hours later that completely interrupted my family's long waited Japan trip, it wasn't due to natural reason such as weather but under the company's control. On the day we wasted 9 hours of our time from 6am to 3pm, including a few hours in the customer counter waiting for supervisor to handle our rescheduling. When we came to the counter for rebooking help there were at least 4 employees on the counter but we were told they were not trained to handle customer rebooking, we were also told the supervisor could come 10:30 to handle our rebooking, but she showed up more than one hour later, the end result was exactly the same so the few hours we spent waiting for her was completely wasted; We already prepaid hotel and all the tickets for the our stay in Tokyo so all of the cost for the first day is completed wasted; The $80 meal voucher issues was far less than our financial loss due to the financial cancellation, and it was not surprisingly invalid (as Your company screw up everything possible along the flight), the vouchers were supposed to last 72 hours, when we tried to used it at our lounge next day less than 24 hours from its issuing at a designated restaurant, the worker there couldn't scan the vouchers after multiple tries on all 4 vouchers issued, so we had to pay the food from our own money; For the two return flights they were also full of unfortunate events that caused bad experience and further delay and waste of our time, both flights departed late and the last leg had another significant delay of more than half an hour after touchdown, the gate was for some reason not available so we waited more than half an hour, when we got out of plane it was almost one hour later than the supposed arrival time; The gate you arranged is the farthest in Vancouver airport, also was the luggage pickup location in Seattle airport; We also called customer service for rescheduling help and after a long time wait (more than an hour) we got a call back but the CS representative was equally clueless and unhelpful. Other than a fatal crash, your company couldn't do anything right and provided the worst service possible among the tons of flights we have taken in our lives. We wrote a complaint to the company, received an auto reply that customer service rep would contact us about the issue, 3 weeks has passed, there is zero contact from the company, not very surprising based on what we had gone through with the company so far.
