This morning, 5/1/25, at 8 AM, I had a flat tire in the Runup pad for runway 6. I called Yankee and Joe was out there in the golf cart in less than 10 minutes. We put some air in the tire and I quickly taxied to Yankee, where Joe had me in and out in an hour with a new tube. Fantastic service, the kind of shop I wish every airport had.

Pete, Joe Sr., Joe Jr. and Ken are amazing. I recently based out of KPYM last spring with a new to me - but definitely not new Baron 58P. They have bent over backwards to help me keep my plane airworthy. They have been diligent in troubleshooting my issues and have have been responsive and accommodating to other ideas from other 58P owners as well as my own research. Communication has been excellent. Recently, they performed my annual which was completed in an expected amount of time given the work list I gave them. They continue to be a great partner in owning an "antique" plane and I'm grateful to have them as a maintenance partner.

It seems a reply to Xanders comments are appropriate. I believe this is the first negative online response since we began in 1977. His inspection was not inexpensive. If he had a pre buy first I don’t know but if it did occur it was done poorly. The plane arrived with a prop spinner that was about to leave the aircraft. That would have been catastrophic. It took a long time to get one from Hartzell. I did respond on two occasions to Xander. I informed him that components do fail and I did not feel the regulator was anything to do with us. As for the shimmy damper it was dead when he taxied in. Due to the high cost of a Piper replacement I suggested there was an inexpensive approved repair kit that might be worth the try and save him considerable money. He agreed to try it. I guess he got one year out of it. I don’t think he mentioned that the bad damper and fouled spark plug happened almost a year after our annual. The plane was in the shop about two months. Our shop repaired many serious discrepancies we noted so probably with another annual or two he will have most other items in good order. I wish him happy flying. Pete Conner

After a very costly annual taking over 2.5 months, a few days after sign off and pick up a series of issues occurred ranging from a broken voltage regulator, spark plug failure (fine-wire tip was broken off and said to have fallen on the floor), to a badly serviced shimmy damper that was completely dried out. I requested some warranty consideration of the "service" performed that was conveniently left unresponded. Quite disappointed about the workmanship and the lack of consideration,
