Wheel of the World is awesome! We couldn't have been more pleased with the service of our agent, driver and tour guide. Setting up our trip, we knew that what we wanted to see on our day trip to Rome was not going to be an easy “ask” as we had the special requirement of a mobility scooter and the need to avoid exposure to the summer heat. More challenging, we were a trip divided as I wasn’t going to take my first trip to Rome without at least seeing the Colosseum, and some of the ruins of old Rome, yet we knew we absolutely were required to witness the art and history of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. Other tour companies discouraged us as just the drive from our cruise port in Civitavecchia to Rome would obligate almost 3-hours round trip of a 10-hour window and making it back in time would make it almost impossible to see both. But our WOW agent patiently worked to create a custom plan that would accommodate both, move our heavy scooter and keep us as cool as possible along the way. We opted for spending a majority of our time on the Vatican end, and to do most of our ancient Rome time as a driving tour. Our driver was exceptional at getting us there on time and teaching us about Italy along the way. His pride of country was contagious! When our guide joined us in Rome, we knew we were in great hands. Her passion for Roman history was impactful, and knowledge navigating the nuances of an extremely crowded Vatican with passageways made us feel special. I felt for others in their large group tours waiting in long lines and being herded through the museum not able to stop and enjoy details that stood out along the way. After our trip around the Colosseum, they felt we had extra time so they took us to the Pantheon to spend some time walking around, and even stop for a meal and gather our strength for the drive back. Yes, we paid a little extra for a custom individual tour, but in reflection we believe this was the very best once-in-a lifetime investment we made on our trip.

I booked an accessible cruise to Alaska through Wheel the World and had the most amazing experience! The ship was beautiful and very wheelchair-friendly. The accomodations, service, and food were top notch. And there was a range of accessible excursions I was able to participate in. This was my first cruise, so I had a lot of questions and my Wheel the World contact was very helpful. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone!

Our trip to Africa, Capetown and Kruger National park, was a trip of a lifetime. Our guide, Alfie, from Epic Enable, provided the support, experience and knowledge for our trip to ensure all participants were safe and having a great time. We experienced South African culture, the wilds of the African bush, ate well and enjoyed our traveler group.

Traveling with this tour agency felt like stepping into a beautifully curated story. Every destination was thoughtfully chosen, every activity balanced with comfort and adventure. The guide truly loved their work— you could feel it in the way they shared history, culture, and small local secrets that aren’t written in any travel book. The accommodations and transport were smooth and comfortable, allowing us to relax and simply enjoy the journey. What I appreciated most was the personal warmth — they treated us like guests, not customers. I returned home with joyful memories, new friendships, and a heart full of gratitude.

This was my first experience using WTW for a long trip as I wanted to try them after having used another outfit several times and WTW was highly recommended. So I booked their Greece tour. What I liked about WTW was that they keep my accessibility needs for lodging and travel on file, so when they made reservations for me, I did not have to worry. When one of the hotels messed up and gave me an inappropriate room, their contracted tour group in Greece immediately had that corrected, and the new room was better than we were expecting. The Greece tour with CareunderSun was exceptional, visiting many archeological sites, learning from licensed guides, and having the opportunity to swim in the Mediterranean Sea with the assistance of the SeaTrac device. I cannot say enough good things about their staff "making dreams accessible". Paz, the WTW agent, also arranged an extended excursion to Santorini, and she was patient with us despite some trepidation with the earthquakes that were happening there. Santorini was beautiful, and the hotel we stayed at in Pyrgos was amazing. Although WTW had no offerings for touring Dubrovnick, Croatia, Paz helped to reserve lodging. We so enjoyed our stay there too. I would definitely consider other future journeys with them.
