We came to WestJet, which is a partner with Delta, as an assigned flight as part of a tour. There was a non-functional computer at the hotel the night before, so we had to stop at the check-in counter to have our boarding passes printed. It was startling to arrive there and find no one there. The line was not long, but preference was given to those passengers who had come prepared. When the attendant arrived at her station, we waited only a few minutes more. She was helpful and kind. The WestJet gates are at the very end of the concourse, so there was a long walk, not many available seats, and a long wait. Boarding went quickly once it started, and we settled into our seats. I had a partly obstructed window seat, but I could see out. It was an enjoyable 3-hour and 20-minute flight, with snack service. The seats were basic economy and had just barely enough legroom. We had never flown with WestJet before.

I booked a flight from phoenix to Calgary with my family that was randomly cancelled. When I called to reroute they told me the other direct flight was full (it had 30 spots I found out 2 min later). I got a flight from phoenix to Seattle to Calgary with a 40 min connection. My sister got into the direct flight 2 min after I had this change. So I called westjet back and they refused to switch me to the direct flight even though there was space - I tried to call back a few times and no one would help. The only thing they told me was they could rebook my entire trip including cancellation fees (which was 3x more than my initial booking). Day of today there's still plenty of spots on the flight and they still refuse to help or give a spot on the flight without significant cost. Terrible customer service.

Booked flight thru Delta. Discovered at check-in that flight was operated by WestJet. Summary; Grossly understaffed at PHX, staff multi-tasking and doing their best. Staff and service in Calgary fine. Return flight on Westjet from YVR to PHX; again staff at YVR fine. Luggage delivery at PHX terrible. Bags delivered 3 or 4 at a time (what are the guys doing down there ???) ALL bags placed wheels up on conveyor so impossible to view tags/markers making baggage ID difficult etc. Clearly intentional. Finally, no easy/any? tech/App connection between Delta and WestJet. Not informed (text/Email) of flight delay at YVR until posted on check-in desk. Will definitely avoid any other Delta/WestJet code-sharing. Air Canada from Calgary to YVR was excellent.

What mix up. We are leaving AZ to Calgary then to Winnipeg. We really appreciate Alani west jet ticket agent. Her patience knowledge got us booked on another flight tomorrow. I usually find the agents cold but she was very friendly while being very patient. Great employee

This review relates to a flight from Toronto to Calgary. We were in first class. Carmen was our flight attendant. What an excellent experience. Carmen was so friendly and helpful. The wine was plentiful. The food average (we had flown recently and the menu had not changed).
