Great airshow. The 2017 show may not have had some of the big names (a.k.a. planes or show groups) but it was a lot of fun with a lot of fantastic airplanes on display. Since I am rating the airport, I won't get into the specific parts of the show. It was certainly worth attending and very much worth the price. Make sure you go on one of the truck tours that take you around to see some parts of the airbase that aren't always open to the public. There is a ton of history at that airfield that you cannot get anywhere else. I am glad to see the great efforts of individual volunteers that have gone into restoring this amazing piece of our national history.

This airport is a real museum. They have a great little exhibition hall where you can see what the training for the Enola Gay was like. You can also climb to the top of this huge ATC tower

This review is for the museum, not the airport. Pros: very hands on, touch what you want. Negative, there just isn't much to see. That is why I would recommend seeing it, to help promote the word for a better museum.

Donโt miss this piece of history in the middle of nowhere. The Wendover air base was an important center of WWII bomber training for pilots and gunners. The well curated museum tells the story of training and how the base worked. The Enola Gay hanger is in the restoration process. This is a great opportunity to stretch your legs and see some history at the Eastern edge of the salt flats.
