Alisa Claridy is a great vocal teacher. She takes students where they are, musically, and follows a highly individualized course of instruction. She makes learning the techniques easy and fun, using songs that the student enjoys singing. She has been my niece's teacher for several years and my niece now sings with the city's teen band and performs all over the city. I recently started taking lessons after years of being a cover band lead singer. The techniques she's taught me have made me a strong singer. I highly recommend her whether you're a beginner or professional.

Wow what can I say. I sent Coach Alisa a video of me singing and she got back in touch with me and we been working every since. My voice and pitch is better. My cofidence is coming back from being discouraged long time ago. She is wonderful and very thorough. Her technical approach on singing outstanding. She is teach me a lot. I have been one of Alisa Claridy's adult students since 2013. I just knew she was the perfect voice coach for me when I first met her. She is not your typical voice teacher who gives lessons once a week and puts together one recital at the end of the year. With Alisa Claridy, you get to perform...a lot...a huge benefit you get as her student. She does not only talk about what it takes to be a successful vocalist, she "shows" her students how it's done. I remember the first time I met coach Claridy. She immediately recognized my passion for music and my desire to take singing to the next level. She also recognized my lack of confidence and how stage fright hindered me from showing the audience a good performance. She created a plan for me and time frame to achieve each goal and stayed with me every step of the way. She gave me the two important tools I need as a vocalist - vocal power and stage performance.

My daughter's love for singing sparked us to search for vocal training. At the recommendation of a friend we encountered and met two wonderful vocal teachers that loved teaching and training and had the passion and knowledge we were looking for. We've continued with Vocal Directions and have grown for about 4+ years now. I say we because not only has my daughter's singing ability progressed but we as parents of an up and coming vocalist have also learned of the hard work and sacrifice needed to support the journey. I have the utmost respect for Coach Claridy. She is an extremely talented and experienced vocal coach. Not to mention with a proven track record of making people of all ages successful. I originally enrolled my daughter but signed up for classes too! Singing is great therapy!
