R/T BOS to LHR flights in September 2025 were easy to book, good planes and great cabin staff. We booked ‘Light Economy’, meaning a carry-on luggage weighing no more than 22 lbs(20 kilos) each and a small backpack. They did not weigh the bags. Upon entering the cabin, the color lighting was erotic, hot pink. We departed on time and it was very bumpy until reaching our altitude. Food was OK, plenty of wine, gratis, in-flight entertainment good and landed ahead of schedule. Return afternoon flight, we paid extra for an exit seat, didn’t really have to as the flight was nearly empty, we both enjoyed a row of four empty seats and sprawled out. The price was right, something like $525.00 each for round trip. We would fly with Virgin again.

I fly a lot and its easy to criticise. I had fantastic experience traveling with Virgin at Logan Terminal E tonight with a family and lots of luggage. No queue at check in no fuss checking bags, no queue at security with kind staff, families board first. So thank you Virgin and Massport. New Terminal E is looking great!

I took flight from Boston to London and I was seated in upper class seat 3K. Despite being an upper class cabin, the seat recliner didn’t work! The crew had to help out to recline it manually. What a shame and disappointment. This was my very first flight on Virgin Atlantic and probably the last one. To make it worse the crew was very discourteous and didn’t care to offer a welcome drink. I’m so very disappointed with this experience. I feel cheated to say the least. Stay away from this airline!

No better airline when it comes to modern aircraft and attentive attendants. Only complaint was in Boston there is only ticket counter service at specific times which makes checking in impossible if you arrive early with bags.

I tried this airline in my way to Boston. It was from London to Boston. Then from Boston to Manchester as I was transiting to KSA. In my way to Boston I was in Saudi airlines that allows two free checked in bag with 23kg each. But when changing flight in London the virgin Atlantic allowed only for one checked in bag with 23 and I found that contradicting. The flight was around 6 hours and more. The service on the flight is really good although some of the flight attendant would do do an attitude. They serve juice first with crunchy salty snack. Then they serve the main meal with usually three different options (vegetarian one included). They then serve juices continuously. One hour before the flight lands they serve another light meal - light sandwich plus dessert. Check in from London to Boston was a hassle. But from Boston to Manchester was excellent. They don't have special relaxing area under their name with discounted or promo codes for their passengers. They provide headset, blanket and pillow with some free entertaining list on screen to watch. Sometimes the internet on board is activated. I definitely would travel with it again with a hope of attitude improvement of flight attendants.
