Warm friendly welcome. Area to place luggage is right in front of desk so someone is watching. Three separate areas; TV room, eating area, quiet room. All are very nicely furnished- not a lot of space 6-8 seats per area. Snack and drink options on par with USO standards. The staff/volunteer’s are the best I have experienced in years. Awesome job!

I have been coming to this USO for a few years as I live near by and use Tampa airport for flights. I visited on October 10, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. The customer service has gone down. There are three people as you walk in and I can't get through the door fast enough before I feel like I am being interrogated for my ID. One person checked my ID and then another checked my ID. The lady said, "It's her ID alright." The welcome feel is gone--at least for me. I sat back and observed how they treated people coming in. I am not saying it's racial, but people not of color were treated nicely, with smiles, and welcoming. They asked me to do a survey. And while I am filling out the survey, they were staring at me. One man commented that he hope I wasn't writing about him. The lady asked if I needed help. I said, "If I needed help, I would have asked for it." They talk loud and you cannot even hear yourself concentrate, but if somebody is on their phone, they have the nerve to tell them to be quiet. Do better!

I’m active duty traveling with my wife and kids. We were turned away after I showed my cac card but my wife did not bring her ID. I was able to use another USO from our departing airport without issue. 18 years of service and I’ve never had any issue with a USO. To the man that took great pleasure in removing me and my family, I hope you have the day you deserve.

Im active duty, tried to go in with my fiance and was turned away. New USO policy is not great. Also I've never been asked for my ID so immediately, not a good experience.

This is the worst USO I have ever been to. I went in because I was dropped off early at the airport and had to wait almost 10 hours for my flight. I walked in and the two ladies working the front desk today were so incredibly rude, me and a group of two other military members immediately walked out and decided to just wait outside. I’ve never felt so unwelcomed and unsafe in a USO and that’s really sad.
