Insanely dehumanizing, insensitive, and unprofessional. If you are not a US citizen, they will treat you poorly and get away with it. They get off on power tripping. Someone close to me (a non US-citizen) was stopped for questioning here in 2022 and treated very inhumanely. He is neurodivergent and the staff were laughing at him behind his back and saying things like "he's crazy" and other very demeaning things within earshot. I wish I could give them negative stars. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to be stopped by these people.

What a shitty airport. There are 300+ citizens waiting for CBP and only 2 officers processing at the arrivals. SF is in Silicon Valley and we have yet to have the tech that makes life easier at our airports. What a shame.

Senior American citizen was treated rudely by a bald inspector at SFO US Customs. Normal inspection is completely understandable, but it should be professional and respectful. Bad customs service. Not professional at all.

I don’t usually do reviews but coming home for emergency leave as an active military member stationed overseas dealing with disrespectful U.S. customs and border protection staff is crossing the line and unacceptable. I’m not going to complain the lack of care this airport gives for military members. If I could give this a negative stars I would.

US citizen here. Traveled through SFO on 29 May with another US citizen and permanent resident. We got tagged for customs coming from Japan. We waited for an hour just to be told we're good to go and we didn't need to be there as citizens and a resident... During that time I witnessed the most unprofessional treatment of visitors from officer Lee, and the African-American officer at the counter. They mocked people for not knowing English, intimated them after making jokes at their expense, and communicated in the most unprofessional manner I've ever seen for "law enforcement" individuals. I witnessed them make a young and old Korean woman cry for no reason other than their enjoyment... I have been to many 1st and 3rd world countries and have never been treated this way by customs, why are we? As a veteran and US citizen I formally apologize for anyone that deals with this CBP office and I am disgusted.
