Ok,this is a general United Airlines review—not a single location. First, we have always liked the airline for its convenient schedules, friendly personnel, and dependable service. Recently,post-COVID, air travel has changed, this one for the worse! A) Delays, and poor communication in time for more comfortable choices—like not going to the airport when massive cancellations are likely. B) charging exorbitant baggage check fees ($320 RT for two people 2bags each). If Southwest flew to the Dakotas, we would NEVER choose paying MORE than our house mortgage principle to check 4 bags on a one-hour flight. C) Some weird, invisible radio button that adds $146 in Premier Access, whatever that means, on top of airfare and baggage check! Again for a one-hour flight. D) Big runaround (like buck-passing and sending us far and wide to get more no-Can Do’s, like a voucher or a lounge pass) to see if some compensation besides how very sorry they are about cancellations and huge delays, and zero customer appreciation or service during these events. E) No consideration for Mileage Plus members and years of loyalty when simple gestures could soothe the weary traveler. Okay, Three pluses: REN in the Philippines, found a way to show some appreciation in a few comped miles as Mileage Plus members. And, things we thought we’d never see—actual food in an airline snack, in a quinoa dark chocolate crisp with NO INDUSTRIAL SEED OILS! Wow! From a woman-owned business using real food ingredients. We will be ordering these delicious Undercover Quinoa crisps when we get home. This almost erases the bad feelings of A-E! And last, but not least, probably one of the loveliest flight attendants ever, Linda, on the flight from Bismarck to Denver, for the aforementioned one hour+ flight. She operates like a good mama who assures her little chicks that she can heal every wound with a hefty helping of TLC. Keep this one United. She should be the trainer for all your people.

Overall, United Airlines is a great company that will take care of you at a decent price. All airlines are going to have problem its how the company handles the problems. I would recommend them because there is way worse companies out there.

Makes a great backup facility for the NOC in Willis Tower, UAL/WHQ. “B” in BNOC stands for “backup”. Public transit to this facility is very limited/non-existent. Would definitely work here when the real NOC is not available though.

Baggage handling is done by brute force as we had two luggage cases receive damage
