Coming into Newark from an international flight and not finding my luggage to check through customs before my connecting flight, I already knew there was a problem. Instead of letting me initiate a baggage claim immediately, I was told I had to make the claim with the baggage center at my final destination. Fast forward to my arrival into Tampa, I was immediately greeted by the United baggage claim agent who was able to see that my luggage had indeed been left in Budapest. She was very friendly and was able to tell me approximately when my luggage would be flown in. She took my information to have the luggage delivered to my home and gave me a tracking number. Today, I received a call informing me of what plane my luggage would be on. These updates made an inconvenient error more tolerable. Both agents were efficient and made me feel that they really cared about rectifying the situation.

Watching everyone else get their luggage after you've been waiting 3hours for yours, thanks United, not one flight on time and a 3 hour wait on luggage.

Rude TPA front desk, lied to me about unattended minors… United should give jobs to people who actually want to serve and work…

Shout out to United Airlines agent Hailu at TPA. He showed me how to use the app to change my seat and changed it for me. This flight to LAX has TVs, complementary ear buds, power outlets and even blankets on board. The app is keeping me well informed of gate changes and letting me know transfer time with my connection!

No star if possible! Worst US airline ever! It’s never a pleasant experience flying with united, but seeing unprofessional front desk in TPA with no priority or assistance for expected moms is another level of frustration which can ruin your travel experience. I’m sorry that United has so many hubs in various terminals across country and it leaves you with no choice but to fly with them!
