Diana at the united baggage check-in has the best customer service I’ve seen! Even with the Government shut downs her bubbly, helpful & friendly attitude was a breath of fresh air. She deserves to be rewarded & acknowledged. Outstanding!

One of the worst airline experiences I've ever had – avoid United in Honolulu if you can. Our flight was delayed and eventually cancelled due to a tsunami warning that ended up causing zero damage. Fine, safety first — but what followed was complete chaos and unacceptable customer service. Everyone — from passengers whose flights were cancelled the night before to those like us with an 8:30 AM departure — were lumped into the same disorganized, slow-moving line. We arrived early, told staff multiple times that our flight was soon, and were still told to go back in line. No priority, no consideration, just a shrug. By the time we made it back to the front, we were blamed for "not showing up early enough" — apparently six hours in advance is now the standard? We were rebooked, but the staff offered no clear communication, no apology, no hotel voucher, nothing. To make things worse, there were only three staff members at the counter helping stressed-out passengers, and one of them walked off laughing for a 30-minute break. The attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. There was zero efficiency. It honestly felt like they were making things worse, not better. United Airlines at Honolulu Airport showed a complete lack of organization, empathy, and basic customer service. I will absolutely avoid flying with them in the future.

- WARNING - Don’t leave anything on the plane. United will not return it if it has value. Employees or company keep the valuable items for themselves and frequently do not return. *if you have had this problem too we are forming a group to get restitution.

Travelled from Virginia to the Philippines with connecting flights from DC to Hawaii but got delayed in DC for almost 4 hours due to snow last January. The crew at United Airlines in DC told us the plane from Hawaii will be waiting for us since there are 30+ of us that got delayed on that flight. When we arrive in Hawaii, the plane already left us and the the United Airline employee just told us the next flight will be on the afternoon of the next day and that's it. No help at all and just left us dry and to wait 20+ hrs for the next flight. No empathy from him and only reason he keeps on repeating is that "it's the weather" and "it's not their fault" and there's nothing they can do about it, in short we are stuck and we're on our own. So we eend up getting our own hotel for the night. Shell out extra money and no help or assistance from United Airlines at all. I hope they will see this review of mine. Some United Airlines front employees in Hawaii are rude and no compassion. I highly recommend to have these employees fired for their attitude and if not, better train them again.

United Airlines in Oahu is the way to travel to Honolulu! I took my grandson to Honolulu for his first time! United Airlines has many flights every day to and from the islands. Also, my grandson enjoys the United Airlines lounge for a peaceful time before or after our flight!
