The worst airline I've ever been on. Flight delayed over 7 hours, no compensation, lost my luggage, staff in baggage claim were completely incompetent. I listened to them tell others there was no way to look up their flights without their boarding passes. Their cell phones were dead, there were no outlets available to charge them, and the baggage claim people acted like there was nothing they could do. I was embarrassed to listen to them. Horrible customer service. Not worth your time. Also, in the baggage claim they filed for me, they recorded incorrect information about my baggage. They recorded someone else's bag tag and the wrong delivery address! The two most important pieces of information, they got wrong. Unacceptable. Had to then spend 30mins on the phone and get back in line to correct it. Who knows if they will even find the bag now. Spend the extra money and go with a better airline. This was as bad as flying on Spirit but double the cost.

UNITED BREAK THINGS WITH NO ACCOUNTABILITY https://youtu.be/M9RmQlVFIVw?si=YAHpq6v5yt39qpYZ United breaks things…be careful United Crews obviously need more training on caring for the customers’ valued belongings. They take ZERO accountability for broken opens and get dogmatically defensive should you try to reason with them Why in earth would they train their staff to be careful if they have ZERO liability Listen to the song above about one man’s personal experience. Mine wasn’t any better

United Airlines behaved deplorably in my recent international flight from Milan to DFW...which happened to be our honeymoon flight for my wife and I. On the morning of our return flight from Milan to DFW, I received text messages telling me United had cancelled our flights and automatically booked us on different flights. We received multiple texts changing our new flights multiple times. Though these texts had links to change our newly assigned flights to other flights of our own choosing, they only gave 1 option for a different flight: a flight that was impossible to take because it departed almost immediately. There were no other options except to cancel our flights completely and be left at the mercy of super-high priced options for day-of-departure fares: $5,000+ for 2 one-way tickets, instead of approximately $1,500 for 2 one-way tickets when we had originally booked. Needless to say, we were left completely in the lurch, stranded thousands of miles from home. We had the option to either accept that our 14 hour flight with 1 layover was now going to be a 26 hour nightmare with 2 layovers. The new flight required that we book a hotel for one overnight layover and be at the airport at 3:30 in the morning to catch our 5am flight, they fly well west of our destination city to our 2nd layover...wasting hours in the sky. And we had to ask ourselves: if United cancelled our international flight the morning of and changed the new flight they booked us on multiple times, what's to prevent them from doing the same on any of the future legs of our flight? Our only other option was to cancel our flights and rebook flights for 3 times the cost of our original flights since we were booking the day of departure. The cherry on top is that hours after our flight was automatically cancelled, we checked United's website and they were still selling tickets for our original flight--the flight they they had booted us from! Fortunately I don't fly United often, and I've learned my lesson. My wife mentioned that both times she's flow United in the past 5 years there were delays or last minute cancellations on United's part. I don't think our experience is a unique one. Avoid United at all costs!

Wendy McDonald and this gentleman (maybe from South Africa — wish I remembered his name) were so helpful, courteous and kind. With travel being so stressful it’s so refreshing to see people happy to be of service to others, great attitude and representation of United Airline thank you all so much!!

Very clean and wonderful atmosphere even during busy holidays. Checking in was easy and the employees were very helpful and at times humorous which made the situation less stressful. The employees I dealt with helped us out with tickets, baggages, luggage weight and the gate direction.
