I planned on landing there to visit a nearby friend, since the listings make ample mention of being open to the public and transient traffic, but a rather unfriendly fellow answered the phone and said "No no no!". He was neither very intelligible nor in much of a mood to explain himself or the airport listing either. This was a negative experience, so I would suggest looking for a friendlier airport to visit if you want to keep peace in your life.

My husband has his plane here since many years. A great place if you are experienced in landing on a short field. People are wonderful. If you are a less experienced pilot. Dont do it. This is not a place to try out your skills. Surrounded by houses and runway ends at Heimer road.
