For starters, it was a blast and I had such a great time. Sam my instructor was very patient with me, but mostly he is very knowledgeable and easy to relate with. I would recommend Sam to anyone who was serious about getting their private pilots license.

An interactive monthly av geek mecca. The breakfast is delicious and pilots and aviation enthusiasts are friendly and helpful, as are the staff. I can't wait to come here every first Saturday of the month. Breakfast, pilots, planes and things!

I wanted to leave a review for the benefit of my instructor, Arash, and to credit the people who work to make Twin Oaks a haven for general aviation. It’s pretty close to the ideal atmosphere to learn in, and from start to finish Arash was willing to work with my schedule and held me to a standard that carried me through the check ride on the first go—much appreciated.

Twin Oaks has great family feal to the airpark. I received my PPL from here over 20 years ago, as a teenager. It was fun a fun place to fly out of back then and it is even better all these years later. Arash Mohebbirad was my instructor. We did few refresher flights and then did a flight review. He was a pleasure to fly with and easy to get along with. Punctual as well! Don't hesitate to stop by and fly with him out of Twin Oaks.

I went to Twin Oaks to wrap up my PPL and for all my instrument training. I took both checkrides with Kelly (highly recommend!!). The instructors, owners, and students nurture a welcoming environment and provide a lot of support. Their aircraft are well-maintained (and their RV-12s are a blast to fly). I never felt unsafe or like I couldn't ask a question, and their maintenance logs were transparent and easily accessible. Out of all airports I've visited and trained out of, 7S3 is easily my favorite and I hope to make it down for a pancake breakfast sometime!

I did all of my training from my first solo to CFI here at Twin Oaks. It is a wonderful community of aviators. Great owners, instructors, clean and safe fleet with a great team of onsite mechanics! If you’re looking for the best flight school in the area, reach out to Twin Oaks!

Twin Oaks Airpark is the absolute definition of exemplary when it comes to flight training in the Pacific Northwest. From the individual tailored training paths for student pilots to the seasoned veteran aviators, Twin Oaks has a welcoming community where everyone feels included throughout their time on the airfield. Throughout my time at Twin Oaks most of the items I noticed are things I wouldn’t find at other flight schools and was constantly impressed by their operations. Twin Oaks should be proud to be serving the community in a professional yet casual manner. If you are looking to do flight training in the Pacific Northwest, Twin Oaks offers a diverse fleet of Cessna 150s, Cessna 172s, Vans RV12, and a Piper PA-23 with reasonable rates. The aircraft are well maintained by their maintenance team and are installed with modern avionics. For those who may be struggling to decide between Part 61 and Part 141, my flight training experience was very enjoyable in comparison to my experience at Part 141. The flight training was individually tailored for my specific needs and worked around my preferred schedule. The CFIs demonstrate professionalism and are very knowledgeable about their craft. The monthly blueberry pancake breakfast offers volunteer opportunities and networking within the aviation community. If you are looking for a flight school with a fun learning atmosphere, Twin Oaks is a great place to try out! These are some of the CFIs who helped me along the way and would totally recommend flying with. Miguel Pedraja, Elena Busheuv, Aiden Pedroza, and Derrick Galligan.

A great place to not only get excellent training, but also to find lifelong friends! Being at Twin Oaks got me involved with the aviation community in a way that will forever change my life for the best. Nothing but great things to say about such a respectable, family-owned business serving the community since 1972.
