My check-in experience at the DFW Airport was beyond horrible. About an hour before an international flight, Turkish Airlines had only one person working at the check-in desk—no business-class counter, no priority line, nothing. Why are we paying four times more for a business-class ticket if this is the level of service we receive? The agent at the desk, a young man named Sohai, was completely unprofessional. He had a smirk on his face every time we asked a question, made sarcastic remarks, and ignored our requests. He clearly had no desire to do his job or assist passengers who were already stressed and running out of time. To make matters worse, management allowed this situation to happen—one staff member to handle an entire international check-in during peak time, and that person happened to have the worst attitude possible. Shame on Turkish Airlines management for letting such poor staffing and customer service standards ruin what was once a respected airline. This experience was unbelievably disappointing and unacceptable for a company of this reputation.

Turkish Airlines is by far the worst airline I have ever flown with. This is not just one bad experience — it’s a pattern of dishonesty and disrespect. The first time, we PAID for reserved seats, only to be told at the gate that “sorry, not possible.” My wife and I were even separated on the plane. At check-in, the staff lied to our faces, telling us everything was fine. Only once we boarded did we discover the truth. Of course, they made it impossible to file a complaint or get our money back. Now, on our most recent flight, the scam continued. On the outbound flight we were allowed TWO checked bags each. On the return flight, with the SAME round-trip ticket, they suddenly decided it was only ONE bag per person. No explanation, no logic — just a blatant money grab. They forced us to pay an outrageous $280 for a single extra suitcase on our Dallas–Istanbul–Paris flight. This airline operates with zero transparency, zero accountability, and zero respect for its passengers. They trick, lie, and squeeze every cent they can from you, while treating customers like fools. Never again. Turkish Airlines is a disgrace.

Overall experience was pretty good. Can’t complain. I wish there was a little more leg room. Other than that, I had a good flight round trip. The meals were really good actually. Thank you Turkish Airlines! Till then, let’s fly!

First of all, it would be significantly improvr customer experience if the check-In counter agent did not call an older passenger 'Bruh'. Second, maybe keep that attitude in check instead of interrupting customer's questions mid sentence. Third, when someone is a full price Business Class traveler (doing 15 international trips a year) and nicely reminds you to tag the bags for 'Priority' connection. Maybe not ignore it twice and roll your eyes until a third party steps in and raises their voice with you (as the suitcase pulled away on the belt without the tags). Turkish airlines also broke 3 wheels on two brand nee suitcases during transit. Horrible, terrible service and attitude. I see nothing has improved in decades of avoiding this airline. Will be 100% taking business elsewhere.

Worst airline ever. Terrible management team and the luggage is always lost or left behind. They always overbook their flights. The entire customer service team sucks. No sense of leadership of management between any of them, especially the managers. Flight is always delayed as well. Lines are super long and no sense of control or time management. They seem to like giving people a hard time.

Documents needed for travel from DFW to LHE 1) US Passport and NICOP Had the best check in experience at DFW, extremely courteous staff, flexible with weight allowance, honestly had superior customer service than any other airlines I've experienced before. The flight was delayed by an hour but overall, excellent 5 star experience. Will definitely fly with Turkish Airlines again. Had a 9 hour layover at IST Airport, enjoyed the food and Turkish delights, rested and waited for connecting flight at the airport. Connecting flight was On-Time and had the same high standards of customer service, on-board entertainment and food. Definitely flying again with Turkish Airlines.

Whenever I fly international, I tend to opt for international carrier over American because of service and food is outstanding. This was my first time flying on Turkish Airlines and I was pleased overall. The legroom was standard but I loved that you are able to stand upright, even for taller guys and not bump your head on the overhead bins . The food options were healthy and the lavatories were decent. The only thing I would recommend that needs improvement is the check in process. You do not have the option to print or download your boarding pass electronically, instead you have to do that at the airport check in. Other than that, the overall experience was good.
