I was denied boarding on March 29, 2025, and issued compensation for 400 EUR. I submitted all documents the next day with my correct IBAN and was told the money would arrive in 7–14 business days. It’s now been nearly a month, and I still haven’t received anything—while other passengers already have. I contacted Turkish Airlines several times, sent bank statements and official forms, and kept receiving the same generic response: “The refund was processed.” But no one can give me a transaction number or proof of payment. I feel completely ignored. I did everything right, and they’ve done nothing to fix it. This has been deeply frustrating and disappointing.

Similar story to the person below. Was offered cash compensation by Turkish airlines for an overbooked flight. Am waiting since now close to 6 weeks to get my money back. For a premium airline, it has been incredibly frustrating to see how nobody seems to have any authority to give out any information on how long the refunds will take. Every employee from Turkish airlines through various channels says something different and the entire process couldn’t have been more frustrating.
