They told me I do not have to worry. Everything is all. When I arrived at the airport in Kabul their agent at the Kabul location wanting money to provide wheelchair. It was a connection flight to Chicago.in Istanbul no wheelchair assistance provided. I have problem with my feet and mind. I was scared what to do my son Asadullah talk to guy to help me to arrive to the next gate. He charged me $600 otherwise he is not gonna help. Anyway I had to pay. This happened due to Turkish airlines the services they promised had not provided Now they are not paying us back Do not trust this airline Now who is gonna pay me back my $600 The customer service representative did not care

My mom missed her flight at O’Hare airport because the gate was changed and she didn’t understand the announcement of a gate change on the speaker. For some reason the assistants service did not move my mom to the new gate. The Turkish employees at O’Hare were very helpful and responsive. One guy stayed with my mom late at night until she was picked up by husband from the airport. She flew the next day. Her ticket was changed with no extra charge. The girl at check in, Nur, listened to our story and she made sure that my mom got to the right gate this time. Thank you O’Hare Turkish employees for your service!

We had a very disturbing and disappointing experience with Turkish Airlines at Chicago O’Hare Airport. One of the employees at the check-in counter, Christina, treated my elderly parents with extreme disrespect. Her tone and attitude were aggressive, and she made them feel uncomfortable and humiliated. Her behavior appeared discriminatory and completely unprofessional. At the time, we were not at the counter with them, so we were shocked to hear how she spoke to our parents about their luggage. When we arrived, a different male employee was helping us politely and efficiently. He was respectful and kind, and we appreciated his assistance. Unfortunately, Christina returned, interrupted the process, and insisted on rechecking everything again for no clear reason. Her behavior felt targeted and unnecessarily harsh. This kind of treatment—especially toward elderly passengers—is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on Turkish Airlines. We had a very bad experience and hope Turkish Airlines takes this matter seriously. All passengers, regardless of their background, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

These guys are crooks. It’s ok to fly as long as you don’t need any changes but if you do, read the fine print!!! We book business class for a large family trip to Europe, bought a more expensive ticket plus travel protection for my mom’s ticket as she said she might not be able to travel due to health reasons so we tried to get a fully refundable ticket. As it happened, she got ill and had to request a refund, only because she wasn’t in a hospital during the travel date, they wouldn’t issue the refund. You can only correspond to them via their “Feedback” portal and their English isn’t great. These guys are crooks! If you can, find a different airline.

horrible DTW staff. Refused to check my sister in law in for no reason even though she had a reservation. Said computer was rejecting her. Spent 4 hours trying to fix it. Said no manager available. Come back tomorrow. We did and also spent all night on the phone with customer service. Continued to deny her unless we paid them $3500. Says she has a reservation but no confirmation. How is this even possible????? Worst airline ever. Manager at DTW is rude and blamed us for their computer acting up. Customer service on the phone is also useless.

Very disappointed with Turkish Airlines. I booked flights for my elderly mother, who has medical needs, and myself so I could assist her. We kept recieving errors when attempting to check in or select seats online and spent hours on the phone with customer service, who kept giving unhelpful instructions and never followed through on promised call-backs. All I got was fruitless tasks to do, that just wasted my time (use website, download app, try in another hour, etc..) Finally, we were told to arrive extra early to the airport, as they would be able fix it. Again, another task that they gave us, more wasted time and frustration and another representative to tell us "Theres nothing i can do". Now we aren’t even seated together, and my mother doesn’t have the aisle seat she needs for easy washroom access. The constant response of “there’s nothing I can do” was incredibly frustrating. Very poor customer service and a stressful experience. At this point, I have wasted more time trying to deal with what should be a simple check-in and seat selection process than my second flight segment!!! I will absolutely look to avoid Turkish airlines going forward..

Turkish Airlines far exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we stepped on board, the staff’s warm hospitality, professional demeanor, and elegant uniforms set a high standard that domestic airlines simply can’t match. The in-flight meals were exceptional—more like dining at a restaurant than eating on a plane—and the overall comfort, service, and attention to detail made our international travel experience genuinely enjoyable. My wife and I are extremely pleased, and we would highly recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone looking for a world-class journey.
