I would like to file a compliant against Turkish Airlines. They should re-imburse me for the $200 Samsung Earbud I lost on flight TK**** on 27th Aug 2025 while sitting on seat 31G. This flight uses the old planes that need better in cabin maintenance. The pocket in front of my seat had holes in it that caused by earbud to slip out at some point during the flight and roll around. I realized that I have lost it after landing. I asked the crew to search for it and they couldn't find it. My particular seat had a broken pocket with holes on either side from which personal items can slide through. The seat next to me didn't have this issue. I hold Turkish airlines responsible for faulty in cabin equipment that resulted in this loss of personal item. The crew wasn't helpful either. They don't speak proper English. The same goes with the Turkish airlines help desk at Istanbul airport. They have crew who are inexperienced and don't know how to address customer concerns. I can overlook all that but I do hold Turkish Airlines responsible for using faulty in cabin equipment that resulted in my loss. If Turkish Airlines consider themselves professional, they a) should maintain their aircrafts better b) offer me some compensation for the lost item. I will be reporting this on social media.

They make international connection only 50 minutes, group of 10 people get to the next plane, 6 people get on the plane, 4 people get bumped onto next plane 6 hours later. No explanation, poor customer service, very rude staff. Never again!

Disastrous attitude, of the seemingly station manager at SFO, poor or unacceptable food service, during a 15-hour non-stop flight. STAY AWAY from Turkish Airlines at any cost; you will regret it otherwise.

We purchased two Business Class tickets on July 10 2024 for my spouse and I for a trip on March 29, 2025. On the day we purchased the tickets, we contacted Turkish Airlines and were given seat assignments. We kept those seat assignments until the night before the trip when inexplicably my spouse’s seat was changed. We noticed the change in seats when we were checking-in. We immediately attempted to change the seat back to the original or get comparable seats in another area of the business cabin. We were told various ways to do this - all which lead to a dead-in. There was no reason for the seat to be reassigned - my new seat partner purchased the seat on line and had not asked for any accommodation. There was also no health or safety issue involved. We spoke with half a dozen people before and during our trip and no one was able to assist and no one was able to say why the seat was changed. I have traveled all over the world with many different airlines and this has never happened before. My spouse and I were terribly disappointed in the Turkish Airlines Customer Service and will never use the airline again.

Avoid at all costs! First of all website and phone app are extremely buggy and freeze all the time no matter if you're using iOS or Android (Mac/PC). So it is almost impossible to check in or change/cancel your flight and you'll have to call them (which is almost impossible since they never answer the phone and keep rolling you with their automated phone system). In case you purchase tickets for your spouse or relative they won't be able to check them in until you are present at the airport to confirm your identity (they ask to verify all "suspicious" transactions where the passenger's name is not the same as the cardholder's name). Even if at the time of ticket purchase they claim, that your tickets have no penalty when changing departure dates, don't trust them, because in my case eventually they charged me $300 for this and I wasn't able to get it back. Wi-Fi is overpriced, limited, and wonky all the time. Luggage is a mess since they allow 2 pieces per passenger and you'll wait forever for your suitcase at the belt (if you're lucky and your belongings weren't lost while transferring in IST). Overall that was the worst experience I've ever had. In case you have other options - fly with any other air carrier.

I'm surprised to see many below average reviews for Turkish Airlines. I have a pretty good experience myself. From the check in counter to the quality of the flights and the service we get in Istanbul, Turkey is better than most of the airlines. We have a very friendly airline ground staff help us check in our flight at San Francisco airport. She was one of the best airline ground staff I have ever been met. She has a smile on her face all the time. The flight attendants are taking care of their jobs as they should. Drinks and snacks are available all the time on the flight. However, the movie choices are limited and are some older movies. I hope they’ll have more newer movies for long flights! Overall, I liked the flights and services I got from Turkish Airlines. I enjoyed my trip!
