Great airport to fly into. The guys in the tower are very professional, accommodating, patient and friendly. I hanger there during the summers at Christiansen Jet Center and their professional staff cannot be beat. It’s a great FBO, and albeit busy at times, a great airport.

To those who complain about airport noise: Unless you lived in this area before 1958, your complaints lack merit. You chose to move near an airport, fully aware that airports are noisy and subject to growth and changes in activity. Complaining now seems both futile and petty. If the noise is unbearable, moving elsewhere is a straightforward solution. This is the busiest airport in Oklahoma—busier than those in Tulsa and Oklahoma City combined. The revenue it generates is significant for the local economy, benefiting the community at large. I enjoy coming here to relax and watch airplanes land and take off. A dedicated spotting area on the north end of the runway, similar to the one on the south side, would be a welcome addition.

Great airport for take off and landings. Tower was patient. It was a bit busy but everything was clean and wife open. Fuel truck came within a few minutes to fuel us up.
