Fantastic airport just as close to the metro area as PDX but less giant airplanes trying to eat you on final. There are even nice people in the tall blue building who seem to act as something like really high tech parking attendants but also meteorologists or something. And great eyes that see through clouds. Stop at Gorge Winds FBO north ramp east end. Great people, ok coffee, and lots of local knowledge.
