The drivers were courteous, helpful with baggage handling, and conveyed a sense of safety and security. - *Santorini Hospitality*: Despite initial room issues at the palace hotel (old suite with poor hygiene and lack of electricity in one room), the staff rectified the situation promptly upon our feedback. They went the extra mile by providing a bottle of sparkling wine on my wife Jyotsna’s birthday, complementing the evening’s celebration with cake and wine arranged by our son. - *Mykonos Experience*: Walking through downtown Mykonos to Little Venice was delightful, enjoying the sunset amidst the charming paved lanes. The local ambiance was a treat. - *Delphi Tour*: This was a standout experience – the guide was knowledgeable, courteous, and caring. The tour left a lasting impression and was truly memorable. - *Athens – Titania Hotel*: The hotel’s location was excellent, staff were courteous, and the 11th-floor deck offered an awesome view of the Acropolis. The busy bar at night with a grand view of the illuminated Acropolis was a treat. ### Areas for Improvement - *Santorini Katamaran Cruise*: We managed to fit this in upon arrival but felt rushed and weren’t impressed with the tour’s execution. Including this in a more relaxed schedule could enhance the experience. - *Mykonos Tour*: The walking tour, beach visit, and lunch experience were disappointing. The guide/driver seemed hurried, skipped the monastery, and served subpar food and homemade wine in unappealing conditions. - *Athens Food Experience at Acropolis*: The lunch had poor seating arrangements (next to the kitchen), rude waiters, and vegetarian food wasn’t great. No drinks or water were served – quite disappointing for an Athens food tasting opportunity. - *Acropolis Museum, Parthenon, Cape Sounion, Temple of Poseidon Tour*: Fitting too many transfers and walks into one day felt excessive, especially on stone/pebbled roads with steep climbs. A single dedicated van for transfers with allowance for carrying water/food would ease such treks for senior travelers. - *Guides’ Knowledge and Conduct*: Some guides lacked courtesy and had poor knowledge. The driver/guide on the Cape Sounion tour kept chatting in Greek non-stop, offering minimal sightseeing inputs and seemed distracted. ### Coordination & Suggestions - *Vivek Gayakwad’s Coordination*: Vivek did a commendable job managing and coordinating from India, ensuring transfers were smooth and communicating proactively. - *Customization for Seniors*: Given we were senior citizens traveling independently, pacing the itinerary with fewer strenuous transfers/walks and allowing exploration time (like Fira and Oia in Santorini) would suit better. - *Better Tour Organization*: Ensuring guides are well-informed, courteous, and tours are unhurried would uplift experiences like the Mykonos beach lunch. - *Comfort Considerations*: Arranging dedicated transport avoiding multiple vehicle changes and allowing space for carrying essentials like water/food for seniors would improve comfort. Joining the Tripoly Europe tour as a solo traveler turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. I had an incredible journey exploring multiple countries alongside a well-coordinated group. Accommodations were comfortable and welcoming, and all transfers between destinations were smooth and stress-free. A big thank you to Prathamesh Sir and the entire Tripoly team for organizing our Turkey trip so well! Everything was very well planned and executed — we didn't face any issues during the entire trip. All our queries were addressed promptly, and the hotels were great. The only small inconvenience was the hotel in Istanbul, which was located a bit inside a lane, making it difficult for the driver to reach directly. Apart from that, everything was excellent. We would definitely recommend Tripoly for future trips. Thank you
