Me and my wife were taking about a week long trip to Italy, and it was our first time going outside of the States, so I thought it might be good to go through a travel agent. Unfortunately, the agent was overall not very helpful. When I asked the agent for suggestions, it was as if the things sent were copied and pasted from a website because it included things I had already told the agent we weren't interested in. When we had already confirmed hotels and prices were good for us, our agent emailed us the next day notifying the availability changed so the price went up a few hundred dollars as if that was no big deal. Although I realize the agent could not have prepared me for everything, knowing what I had to learn on the fly when arriving in Italy about the public transportation and the apps I could use, it would have reduced the stress knowing that before. Also, it would have been nice to have some sort of visual itinerary instead of having to sift through emails for addresses of hotels/meeting points for tours. Which, I know is small and is stuff I can do on my own, but to me, itinerary is probably the basic you expect from a travel agent.

Trying to make last minute travel arrangements......got an email with one suggestion for lodging that they couldn't really back up as an agency....my friend and I really wanted to work with this group based on their reputation.... felt kinda dismissed..oh well there is next time. Will try again for sure.

I called to make an appt. with an international travel agent, the person that answered the phone "R" told me that person was out right now, but she could potentially help me and that I did not need to make an appt. R said she would email me the information on travel plans by the end of the day...I'm still waiting.......

These folks set up a honeymoon cruise to Alaska for us. Excellent service, helpful and helped create a wonderful life experience based on what we wanted.

Would not use, walked in told them I needed plane tickets to a European country and they acted like they didn't know what to do.
