Mechanical issues 15 minutes into my flight from DEN to MSP, flight delayed by 10.5 hours after landing because Suncountry couldn’t figure out what was wrong with their plane that shouldn’t have left the ground. Suncountry never cancelled the flight and made it nearly impossible to get your bags off the plane and find another flight in time. Some how Suncountry found another plane and we boarded at 1030 pm. We sat on the tarmac for an hour and a half while Suncountry performed aircraft performance that involved shuffling passengers around the plane. They also spent about 10 minutes doing a roll call for passengers that were absent. If I wasn’t so angry in the moment, it would’ve almost been comical. Missed half of our family reunion because of this nonsense and Suncountry’s compensation was a food voucher and $100 flight credit. On the return flight, we were supposed to leave Minneapolis at 5:30 PM and when we got to the gate, there was no plane. We waited and at 5:30 one of the reps came on the intercom and said the flight had been cancelled. They gave us $100 voucher to stay at a super 8 motel and some food but no meaningful compensation. I called customer service the next day and was patronized by a woman who was syrupy sweet and said, “I’m so sorry, that’s so hard” but offered nothing in terms of compensation. If you’re looking to save a couple hundred bucks by flying with Suncountry, all I can say is, DON’T DO IT!

Deserve zero stars. Cancelling a flight that I booked five months in advance the morning of with no explanation is about as bad as customer service can be. The cancellation cost me about 600 bucks and a whole day of sitting at the airport. At least another airline was able to assist because Sun Country support did nothing…

Sun country has more delays then any airlines. Past two times I've flown with them it was 3 hour delay. Poor communication. I will NEVER fly sun country airlines moving forward . My time is valuable!!!

I booked a flight in June from Denver to Minneapolis and back. 24 hours before my flight to Minneapolis Sun country canceled the flight. I had to book on United and spend an extra $100. On my return flight from Minneapolis to Denver the flight was three and a half hours late. As I sat in the Minneapolis airport I watched Sun country cancel several flights, move customers from gate to gate and failed to keep their gate agents aware of what changes they were making. All of sun countries employees that I met were very helpful and friendly, however Sun country Airlines is a hot mess. Not certain if they're going broke or management is poor but one way or the other this is a horrible airline. Spend an extra hundred bucks and fly United, Delta, Southwest or American. Don't put yourself through this!

Traveling with an elderly person on Sun Country. Big mistake. Ticketing agent said they had no wheelchairs and would have to "order" one. He refused to order one until he got everyone checked in. Once he was all done with that, then called to order the chair and told us we would have to wait another 15-20 minutes, meaning the elderly passenger had to stand and wait. All other airlines around had plenty of chairs standing by and ready to go for their passengers. If you are flying with a disabled person on Sun Country, bring your own chair or prepare to stand around and wait.
