Sent an email to the person that replies to all of the negative comments. They are trying to compensate for the terrible experience you will have if you go here. I will no longer be a customer of Missouri City star cinema. Biggest problems: 10/28/2025 1) AC—incredibly hot and both times I went 6 months apart it was not working. 2) service—I do understand short staffing plays a role. A lot of the food and drinks were delayed well into halfway the movie. 3) the movie went completely out at the halfway marker. The server proceeded to tell us after 20 minutes that he is still confirming if the movie is cancelled due to the projector issue they could not resolve. Save yourself the money and time going to this theater. I sent an email of my bad experience and have yet to have a reply. On top of that the same night the movie went out no manager was on duty to provide me with a refund for my ticket or my food. Overall 0/10 experience. Go to IPIC and save yourself the money and trouble. The photo attached is me sitting in the dark waiting for the movie to come back on. November 5,2025: the response below from them is fake. I sent that email a week ago and they have yet to respond. Customer service is poor.

I enjoy this Theater a lot. Clean, friendly and nice food. Especially like the oversized chairs!

What's to tell, it's the best theater around here, bare none. All you have to do is sit back, relax, order whatever food or drink you want from the comfort of your sit (which is equipped with all kinds of gadgets), and enjoy your movie. It's as simple as that.

Went with my family on a Saturday morning to enjoy a movie and make memories — but beware! We were overcharged $41 on a $120 cash total. In today’s economy, every dollar counts, and it’s sad you can’t even enjoy a simple family outing without worrying about being taken advantage of. Always double-check your receipts. Honest families deserve honesty in return.

Took about an hour to get our food. Was lukewarm when it arrived and looked like it had been sitting for a while. I could look at the pulled pork and tell it had been sitting because it was dried and crispy. Never even got the check. The lights weren’t even turned down during the movie. One of them kept flickering. Could’ve just went to SMG for this.
