Being traveling back and forth Boston/Myrtle Beach for 3 years now with no issues. Flights always on time, kind staff and if you travel light, you get good deals. Also if you get lucky having an empty flight like myself, you can choose your own seats.

You probably know why I bought my plane tickets with Spirit Air...the price offered was significantly less than any other carrier. But you get what you pay for, and when you buy a ticket with Spirit Air, you get NOTHING but the use of a seat on the airplane. It costs extra for a carry-on bag and/or a checked bag, you must pay for seat selection (optional), you'll pay more for any travel insurance if you want its protection, it's an extra charge for a small snack & a soda onboard. However, even after paying for all the extras separately, the total cost of my round trip flight was still less than the next-lowest-cost carrier option, so it was worth it for me to buy through Spirit Air & then pay for all the "extras" afterwards. Bottom line: if you can deal with the "no frills" type of airline and you want to save a good amount of money on your flight, go ahead & buy from Spirit Airlines. You'll save a bundle & still get to wherever you're going. If you want a luxury experience in the sky, look elsewhere.

Got delayed three times and eventually the flight was canceled. I had all ready been in the airport for 6 hrs and would have had to wait another 6 hrs with no guarantee that the next flight would be flying out on time. But, look, this happens on all airlines. I asked for help at the ticket counter and I was treated very well. Staff booked a room for me and I was able to get some sleep. I flew out the next morning with no issues at all. I really like Spirit Airlines and I fly appx 8 flights per yr. with them and I will continue to choose Spirit.

July 2024 - flight delayed by 4:07 hrs. Forced to make sit down at the gate. Spirit airlines are not doing proper maintenance service for their airplane. Waite Gates for around an hour after landing. Traveling in C&J bus service was a great relief after traveling in spirit airlines. Spirit airlines are doing their services with unclean flights and poor customer services. Spirit airlines employees should learn how to behave politely to their customers. This is just another example of how your business is failing and going to close.
