This 5-star rating is for Kimberly only and is personal. Huge thanks to Kimberly, the Assistant Agent at Spirit Airlines Detroit (DTW)! She went above and beyond to help us after Spirit canceled our flight from Las Vegas to Tampa and rebooked us through multiple cities. Two agents told me I had to pay to switch flights (insane) and another said to go outside the airport for help. Spirit Airlines may have let us down with delays and rebooking issues, but Kimberly restored our faith in customer service. Kimberly truly deserves recognition β please consider rewarding her or giving her a well-earned raise for her outstanding service. Thank you, Kim β and God bless you! π

People here at Spirit Airlines are friendly but if you want leg room and arm room you best make sure you are in the front of the plane. Make sure if you are going on a long flight bring a portable cd player or dvd player with you as well as snacks. The internet cost you money to connect with it which is about 17 dollars and the snacks...well a bag of m&m will cost you 5 dollars. So bring your own

I love spirit. I was skeptical at first as one friend told me flying spirit was like preparing to travel on a coffin. But in my experience, there was leg room and it was quite alright. Not the best but at the cheapest price, I would give it 5 stars. On a budget, this is the best airplanes. People, stop complaining. Complaining doesn't make you cooler. It's the cheapest price, so extra leg room is the best that can be offered. However, for really long flights I won't take spirit. Since they charge for the food, I am just repulsed to spend money on food in a plane. My flight was 2 hours so I managed. But if it was 6-8 hours, my experience would be different.

Spirit has been a helpful and great experience for traveling. The process is easy. Rates are great, I would recommend upgrading seats when possible. Every flight staff has been great, polite and professional. The gate staff is wonderful too! Thank you everyone involved for my many wonderful experiences thus far!

It's ridiculous to charge for the flight and then have to pay over 150 for your seat too and another ridiculous fee for your carry on bag too. Never again ..Delta from here on out.Crew were nice atleast.

Best deal on getting you from A to B and best frequent flyer program if what you want is free flights. With just 3 round trips I usually a free flight. If you pay extra for first class you get lots of free snacks, drinks and free WiFi. Ground staff is hit and miss but on board they are always very good. I still wonder why people spend so much just for a free soda with the other carriers. I'd rather spend half and then if I really want that soda I'll buy it on board.
