Worst customer service ever, when a company uses an app that has shown to have issues (double billing/booking) and tries to blame others for said issue. Only to refuse refund and wasting time of calling numerous companies only to be told ITS SPIRIT AIRLINES issue. This company has chosen fraud and deceptive practices to over bill and I highly suggest not doing business with them. The bad reviews are ALL VALID in my opinion

Pay pay pay. $82 to check 46 pound bag. All other airlines allow 50 LB bag for $25. Employees at plane entrance making customers stuff carry on into fitting box to see if it fits. If it doesn't you have to pay to carry on. You basically pay for everything. Pick your seat - PAY. Also, when you go to check a bag, you wait in line to do first portion yourself, then wait in another line to complete process, then PAY! I'll probably get charged for typing this review while on their plane. I'll never fly this airline again. Pay pay pay

Update: 4/10/2018 I didn’t think it can get worse but leave it to spirit wonderfully awful customer experience. Spirit team I am being sarcastic bc your I don’t think you know what it means to have good customer service. It is not like your fare is cheap bc if it was I would understand. Update 12/29/2017: retracting my original comment with 4 star to 2. Get your act together really. There are some good flight attendants but the lead attendant are rude and need ran step down to reality since they are in a frontline customer service rep. Be kind which kindness is not consistent with spirit flights. 12/27/17 Ok folks. I know people are wondering how it is to fly spirit air. Well let me tell you, you get what you pay for. The people are super nice and kind. However, everything is al a cart including breathing it appears since they are tight on air (yes you heard me right)and comfort. They are pretty safe and on time. I would consider flying again but would it be my first choice .... well no but I would use it.

The worst Airline ever! All the fees they add on once make the flight more expensive than just going with another airline. United charged &171 dollars to San Francisco. but on my way back spirit charged me $429 plus $70 for a 43 pounds luggage, For that price add up i could have received first class on other airlines with better service. if one day i have a health emergency, and spirit is the only airline available, i would rather die than fly again on this airline,

Spirit Airlines Flights NK2156 & NK2563 I recently traveled with Spirit Airlines on flights NK2156 and NK2563, hoping to build some special memories with my girlfriend as we visited my brother for his wedding. Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. Delays & Frustration Both flights were delayed by a couple of hours. This wasn’t just a minor inconvenience—it was a major setback, especially since we were traveling for a family wedding. The delays added unnecessary stress and cut into the time we wanted to spend with loved ones. Useless WiFi To make matters worse, I paid for WiFi on the ride to my destination, and it was completely useless. It simply didn’t work, which was incredibly frustrating, especially since I was counting on it to stay connected and maybe take the edge off the delay. Disruptive Passengers On flight NK2563, things got even worse. I was seated in front of two children who spent the entire flight kicking my seat and leaving the lights on. Even after politely addressing the issue, the kicking continued. I understand kids can be restless, but it made the flight feel endless and exhausting. It’s hard to relax or enjoy the journey when you’re constantly being jolted from behind. I was really looking forward to making great memories with my girlfriend on this trip, but Spirit Airlines made that incredibly difficult. Between the delays, the non-functional WiFi I paid for, and the lack of consideration for passenger comfort, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I hope Spirit takes these issues seriously and works to improve the experience for future travelers.
