Spirit airline is awesome! I've flown with them about 6 times now and I've never had a bad experience and tge flight attendants always go the extra mile. Im disabled and often have to travel with my young child and they treat us as if we're family. Thank you all for always be so amazing.

Booked a flight to Fort Lauderdale thru Spirit and they kept delaying my first flight until I missed my connecting flight. Management refused to do anything to make things better. No voucher, no discount, nothing... just a 18 hour delay and a side of attitude. I've had major delays before and was given some type of reimbursement to placate me, but this staff did nothing. The front desk clerk Charlene at least showed empathy, but the other 2 females were completely unhelpful. This is why Spirit Airlines just went bankrupt and no one is coming to Las Vegas nowadays. Absolutely no care for their customers and visitors. As someone who was in customer service for years and got high satisfaction ratings, I must say they are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer service. Update: I also purchased a seat with more leg room and they switched me to a flight with seating that is not what I paid for. I expect to get reimbursed for this inconvenience. Altogether, I had to sit in Vegas for an additional 9 hours, catch a 4 hour flight to Detroit, a near 3 hour layover before finally catching my 3 hour flight to Fort Lauderdale, and they didn't even give me the seating I paid for. Highly irritated with the service I've received from Spirit.

They forced us to pay a ridiculous amount for a personal item that other airlines consider carry on. $ 100.00 pay or loose your flight. This is a RIPOFF. They get a commission?

Spirit airlines is a scammer. They charged our personal items $99 each even it fits in their fit bags. The staffs that are assigned in the final check-in are rude too . That’s crazy . Never again 👊🏻. If there’s a zero rate, I would rate them zero 👊🏻👊🏻

What a scam. These people working the boarding should be in jail. Leaving Houston, 600 dollars at gate for having wrong luggage, ok, my fault. Got to destination, bought correct luggage, tried to board flight. Very nasty lady with horrible attitude, didn't want to listen to anything. Just downright nasty. Another 600 bucks. What a scam, her rules only, she didn't care, told us plane will leave without us.

The attitude and unprofessional behavior were unbelievable. It’s very clear why this airline ranks at the bottom. I wish I could give this airline less than one star. The customer service at the counter was extremely disappointing—several staff members were unhelpful, dismissive, and displayed a noticeable lack of professionalism. Instead of assisting passengers, it often felt like they were looking for reasons to charge additional fees. The overall experience was far below the standards of any other airline I’ve flown with. There’s a clear reason why the fares are cheap and flights often have many empty seats. Unfortunately, the low cost does not justify the consistently poor service. I would not recommend this airline to anyone looking for a smooth or respectful travel experience. Paid a little extra and get better airline.

Before I begin, I should say that it's an exceptionally rare occasion where I leave a negative review...but in this case, it's definitely deserved. Initially, my wife and I were surprised that we boarded as promptly as we did. However, what followed was our entire flight sitting in our seats for over two hours on the tarmac while our plane taxied to-and-fro stopping for 20 minute intervals. At one point, they started to pass out cookies and small cups of water and kept telling us that there were weather delays...but we could see that other flights were taking off and landing while we were just sitting. After two hours of waiting, we were told that the pilot and copilot had been on duty so long that they needed to deplane, and that they would get a new crew and then leave...but about 10 minutes later, we were told we needed to deplane, and that our flight was canceled. We've been in line to figure out what is going to be done with us for well over an hour at this point. When we finally got to the front of the line, the best they could do was get us home 2 days later with a layover, though we had originally booked a straight flight. On top of the fact that they didn't add desk personnel to help with all of the passengers needing to get re-booked, we basically got a shrugged-shoulders reaction from all of the Spirit personnel that we encountered after we walked off our plane. As I mentioned to my wife in the midst of all of this chaotic B.S., flying in the 21st century has now become the equivalent of taking the cheapest Greyhound bus fare in the 1970s. You deal with people who aren't wearing shoes or are wearing things that are totally inappropriate for a public flight and that's compounded by airline personnel that don't seem to care about their job on top of what appears to be arbitrary cancellations that leave you stranded for several days with no affordable way to get back home. It'll be an ice-cold day in HELL before I fly this airline again. If I could rate them a zero, rest assured that I would.
