My husband and I LOVE Southwest, they are byfar the cheapest airline we see EVERY time we go to fly, just wish they went even more places! With the $ you save on the flight you can pay to upgrade seats if you want, plus you get 2 free checked bags that cost you $30/35 with any other airline. The checkin/boarding is meh, but again, they are the cheapest airline that seems to give the most we feel. You also get a snack/drink on most flights, and I've NEVER been on a flight yet (and I've been on many) where the service was anything less than phenomenal. Everyone is always so nice, we will continue to be return customers whenever possible.

I called in to cancel a flight. A voice promp advised me that I could receive a call back without loosing my place in line. No call back. The next day I called again. I was advised that the hold time was 33 min. After being on hold for 2 hours the call disconnected. While on hold, Southwest Airlines goes into great detail explaining how they value the customer and strive for β transparency β. While writing this review, again Iβve been on hold for an hour and a half after being told 44 min. Southwest Airlines .... thumbs down on customer experience and transparency. ππ

The way your seated is honorable. If your traveling with others it forces you to pay extra money just to sit with them even with checking in 24 hours prior. My sons return flight did not have enough seats to have me join him but they sure had a seat once closer to the return date which cost well over half the price of the original ticket just in fee's I will never fly SW again at any price. It made my blood boil when the gave me this napkin knowing that I just paid $276 to change my flight... total B.S.

I'm extremely frustrated with how uncertain the boarding process was. Not only did I have to pay an extra 60 dollars, but I was also forced to sit in the very last row and separated from my wife. To make matters worse, the seats were incredibly skinny and narrow, causing discomfort throughout the entire long-distance flight. And if that wasn't enough, there were no charger ports on the seats, leaving me unable to use my electronic devices for the entire flight.
