BAGS NO LONGER FLY FREE???? As of May 27, 2025. Epic fail Southwest Airlines!!! This was a feature/benefit that separated THIS airline from the pact. THAT and their exceptional flight attendants, their customer service and wonderful sense of humor. I think this decision has backfired on the powers-that-be. Seriously. I was on a full flight and Southwest Airlines employees had to beg passengers to check on the carry-on free of charge. They didn't have enough room on the plane for all carry-on bags???? Gee, REALLY??? Um, yeah...if you are going to start charging for check-in luggage you are OBVIOUSLY going to see an increase in carry-on. Yes. I'm a Rapid Rewards member BUT you have to be a Rapid Rewards CREDIT CARD holder to take advantage of ONE free check-on. Its ALWAYS something that the passenger/customer has to get roped into. Way to stick it to us Southwest Airlines. 🙄

My flights and experience while flying Southwest Airlines was great, with the exception of the boarding process, the gate employee was extremely rude and screaming at guests about not hearing them, and repeatedly yelling over the PA their boarding and baggage policy as it was directed at specific passengers instead of speaking with them directly.

Lepa and Crystal at gate B14 helped me update my flight. I’m so grateful for their help. Their willingness to help makes me feel the Southwest brand is trustworthy. People like Lepa should be rewarded for the great work and the kind heart!

Southwest Airlines at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas has many flights every day. The check-in counter area is huge, with many self-service baggage kiosks. Passengers usually handle their own checked bags at the check-in kiosks. The screens on the kiosks are easy to understand. So the check-bag drop-off is fast. I have mainly used the “C” gates every time I fly Southwest. The terminal is usually packed with travelers. The seats are generally very busy, and the passenger line-up area is more crowded and narrow. The check-in gate area is not as comfortable as the other Southwest Airlines terminals in different airports.

This airline sucks. Use to fly it all the time. Sad, this is what happens when the accountants and lawyers take over. Who cares about the customer. I know why the planes are no longer full! lol because they Suck. I buy an A-1 ticket and they let others on before me when I standing in the A-1 position in line. Just unbelievable. I’ve went from about 100 flights a year to 4 this year. United airlines live southwest bad service! Their plans are full.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Customer Service – Thank You Laurie #20359! I want to extend a huge thank-you to Southwest Customer Service Agent Laurie #20359 at LAS Gate C7 for going above and beyond to help me recover an item I accidentally left on the plane upon arrival on Saturday, October 25. Laurie was incredibly helpful, friendly, and detail-oriented. By Monday, October 27, she had successfully tracked down my lost item and provided clear, concise, and effective instructions on how to retrieve it from the Southwest baggage claim office at LAS. Thanks to her guidance, I was able to pick it up, go back through security, and return to my gate without any delays or issues whatsoever. Her professionalism and genuine care made all the difference. Laurie’s attention to detail and dedication truly reflect the best of Southwest’s customer service. I am beyond grateful for her help — thank you again, Laurie, 100 times over! — Chris C.
