I hope pilots are the only ones reading this! A few of those have killed people that were just sitting at home! Im sure pilots would be just as happy & hopefully feel better if it was moved to a better suited place (built in 1940) that isnt now filled with homes, families, businesses around! Growth happens! So much safer for all involved if a new & improved location was found where open fields were around! Making a snap decision by pilots so much easier when emergency situations arise! Much easier to move the airport & the expansion then to do what Turner (grow up man) suggested in his review! Theres so much I could say to that. Utah has changed since the 40's & still is changing! Population boom! I guess we should just be thinking about 1 airport built forever ago & all the happy pilots instead of people & their families & homes! That makes sense! Come on! Let me go make a crash landing around your home! Let's see if I miss! Take it to a better place!

Only pilots are reading these reviews. Great little non towered airport. Obviously not as nice as Provo but we arenโ€™t flying commercial out of the airport. We do have a lot of private jets that have been coming in recently which is very nice and fun to fly with. Fly in on a Sunday and there is nobody in the pattern. Honestly a very fun airport

Great airport with nice staff, decent fuel prices, and a runway that is over a mile long. Head over to watch planes and helicopters take-off and land. If you want to get in the sky, Randon Aviation and a few local flight instructors would be happy to do it for a reasonable price. Check out KSL classifieds or search online for "discovery flight".

Awesome staff, good airport to general aviation. Not bad at all.

The airport and grounds are well-maintained. Good opportunities for training. I was an instructor here for a time, and I didn't view it as a very good location for training. It's right underneath class B airspace, so in order to practice maneuvers, you have to go South or around mountain to the Tooele valley. This ends up being pretty expensive, as you're paying a lot for the plane and instructor.

Beyond over having to hear constant airplane traffic in the middle of the suburbs. There are plenty of places in Utah to fly where there aren't a bunch of houses to fly low and slow over. Keep contacting the FAA and the city if you live in this area and keep complaining to them about the insane noise issues coming from the airport.

One plane constantly flying over the same area for hours on end today. I shouldn't have to hear this all day every day when I pay a lot of money to not live by the airport. Pilots need to understand how completely rude this is.
