I enjoy landing at the airfield at KHDO. The runways are massive and wide-perfect for staying current on nighttime landings and crosswind practice! The historical aspect of this place is something to know! It was the Largest Navigational Airbase in the world at one time. It's not real busy, except during airshows and special events. Fuel is reasonable and the Aviation Director and staff go out of their way to accommodate. There is a courtesy van for use as well!

Fly into KHDO a lot.... several choices of runways, good training field, self serve is available.... It is a fairly busy GA field..... Nice facilities to stretch your legs in.....

Great GA airport! Nice, new terminal building, clean bathrooms, good self serv gas. Multiple runways.
