A great 3.5 hour tour of Sitka this afternoon with Brian, our guide and driver. Brian was born and raised in Sitka and shared amazing stories of history, culture and little known facts about Sitka. We had a stop at Fortress of the Bear, Raptor Center and the Totem Pole forest (all included for price). We booked in downtown Sitka as we took the bus in from the cruise ship. Great price compared to cruise excursion and back with time to spare and shop. Would highly recommend if you are in Sitka and would ask to be on Brian’s tour group!!!!

I signed up for an Easy Sitka tour through Princess cruises. I did not expect an old school bus with steep stairs, peeling leatherette seats, and a cracked windshield. Many people had difficulty getting up the stairs and getting out of the low, child height seats. The drivers are over scheduled and are upfront about the fact that they leave on the dot. I would be mad at myself if I'd been left behind because I was late, but my watch said 11:50 as I watched Clint drive away, stranding me. I eventually made it back into town by foot, a difficulty for me due to mobility issues. The free shuttle back to the ship was way more luxurious than the tour vehicles. Absolutely do not recommend.

The historic Sitka Tour was definitely not worth $95. Only two attractions on the tour had a fee (Alaskan Storytellers $15 and Sheldon Museum $9), which were an easy 5-10 minute walk from the other two attractions. The Sheldon Museum was closed, but we didn't get a discount. Our time at Sitka National Park was extremely rushed and self guided. After the tour, I went back to walk the totem pole trail and visited Castle Hill, Sitka Historical Museum, and the Russian Bishop's House and had a much more satisfying experience exploring all those for free! I'd only recommend this tour if you have mobility issues and are really short on time.

My husband and I used Sitka Tours July 2024 and had an incredible day. The tour was truly one of the best days of our trip to Alaska. We flew into Sitka the night before and the airline lost our luggage. Since we didn't have any raingear, our guide made sure we had unbrellas to use when she picked us up at our hotel. Next stop was to pick up a family of 4 with 2 young children. Our guide was so welcoming and made everyone feel like friends. We were never rushed through any of our stops. There was always time for one more photo and we never left an area until everyone was finished. Bears, raptors, fish hatchery, waterfront area. She made sure that the children in the group had time to examine all of the sea life in the touch pool. When driving between attractions she entertained us with stories of day to day life in Sitka and how she and her family came to live in Alaska. The entire day seemed to be personalized to each member of the tour even though we spaned various ages. Would 100% take a tour with them again

We had a great tour today with Sitka Tours. Our tour guy Carlos was GREAT!!! We booked a 3.5hrs tour and he was an amazing tour guide. He even dropped us off at the ship instead of downtown. Thanks for a great tour of your town.
