I had a fantastic time catching a blockbuster at the Scotiabank Theatre.This is a huge, modern multiplex right in the heart of downtown, making it a perfect spot for a night out . The theatre was clean, and the staff I interacted with were efficient and friendly. We saw the film on one of the premium screens, and the sound and visual effects were top-notch, and not forgetting the amazing D-BOX seats, it really makes a difference for a big action movie . The seats in our theatre were comfortable and felt fairly new. While the concession choices are what you'd expect, the popcorn was fresh and tasty, and I love that they have the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines to mix your own drinks . A heads-up for those driving: it's part of a mall complex, so there is underground pay parking available. I'd recommend using a SCENE card for points if you have one . I'll definitely be returning and would recommend this theatre for anyone looking to see the latest films.

Movies 🍿, movies 🎥 movies 🎦. This is a great theatre to watch the latest and greatest movies. The theatre is in the heart of downtown and in the area that is very busy. The atmosphere is great and my wife and I were excited to see Fantastic Four. Definitely a great movie 🎥 theatre to see the latest and greatest blockbuster. We had a great time.

Came to Scotiabank Theatre Vancouver to watch Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle and had a fun experience overall. The theatre has that unique downtown vibe — riding the long escalator up to the lobby feels like you’re heading into something big. The massive standee and posters made for a great photo spot before the movie, and the IMAX/UltraAVX screens really delivered with sharp visuals and booming sound. Seating was comfortable and the atmosphere inside the theatre made the movie even more exciting. That said, the lobby and washrooms could use some improvement in terms of hygiene, and the pop fountain area really needed a good clean. All in all, it was still a solid night out — the movie presentation was excellent, and this theatre remains one of the go-to spots in downtown Vancouver for big releases.

Definitely one of the cleanest and biggest cineplex theatres out there in the Vancouver area! It doesn’t quite feel as up to date in terms of equipment, chairs, interior, and comfort when compared to the Fifth Avenue location or the VIP area of the Marine Gateway or Park Royal location. However, whatever it lacks in the “newness”, it makes up for its sheer size. Despite its size, I have to applaud for its accessibility in terms of the theatre providing underground parking (though expensive), elevator, and escalator to help people get around the theatre. The biggest pros for this theatre I would say is: it’s popcorn’s freshness (we’ve been to like 10 other locations and this one always has the best tasting ones??? Don’t quote me on it though 😂🫦) and the selection of pop (you can make and mix your own pop, what could be better?!). Plus, I believe it has the only ScreenX stadium in the area! Con: why is the concession never open on the upper floor 🥲 It’s actually so annoying when I want a quick refill on my pop and I have to run up and down the stairs trying not to miss too much of the movie

They have the typical popcorn and pop drinks. The imax theatre has very good sound and visual effects. Seats are chosen at the time of purchase. Online booking has a small booking fee.
